I was a wildman a LB and an instant star in New York as I was part of the NY Sack exchange setting the single season record for sacks along the way while danicng every step of the way. However, my excess got the best of me and I was out of the NFL in 1988. I tried a brief comeback in the CFL and a boxing carer but my life hit the skids and i ended up serving time in prison.

Who Am I?

Mark Gastineau--A bigger bust than Lawrence Phillips (well figuratively any way)

That was bad. Didn't he play well in the CFL or something though? Played in the Grey Cup, right?

He played in 4--count them 4--games with the BC Lions in 1990. That year the Winnipeg Blue Bombers decimated the Edmonton Eskimos for the Grey Cup,

50-11.

He didn't do much at all.

I searched to find career stats for those 4 games--but couldn't find a thing.

Okay--Phillips did okay--not as big as he was made out to be--but a bit of a bust--especially last year with the Stamps due to injuries and legal problems--missed a few games--but Montreal did win the 2002 Grey Cup with Phillips on the team.
