Survival79
Try getting a "RUTH 3" Yankees jersey. Then try getting a "SMITH 3" Yankees jersey.Just get a "______ 3" Yankees jersey. Problem solved. The website won't allow you to order it without entering a name. I guess you just have to hope it doesn't show up with the name on the back. But if spaces are characters, couldn't you just put spaces in? Or you're saying that it won't accept spaces. I guess I could just check, but... meh.It won't accept just a space or spaces.Your current entry cannot be processed. Both the name and number must have a value. Please enter a name. Please create a new entry.I'd order "I 3" and hope it didn't show up with a NOB. If it did you'd only have to remove one letter. "If things have gone wrong, I'm talking to myself, and you've got a wet towel wrapped around your head."
BallWonk
I just tried to customize an Authentic Yankees jersey with "R U T H" and the number 3. The store displayed a jersey with no name and the number 3, and it let me add it to the shopping cart. Worst case scenario would be that MLB.com would deliver a jersey with too much kerning on the NOB.
