MrTitan
Has there ever been a team, any sport, to keep the same starters on their rosters for the length of their careers? In other words say the Titans kept all their starters until they retired.Has that ever happened anywhere?**Forgive me if it's a dumb question, just thinkin bout this kinda stuff to pass time at work. CC97
I imagine it happened a lot early on in sports, before free agency... it probably happened in basketball, where they only have 5 starters. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
the_cynic
Still, I don't think that's happened with any teams to hold players for their WHOLE career in the starting lineup. winters in buffalo
I seriously doubt it. It's possible, but the mathmatic probability of it is going to be outrageously small. Even back before free agency, you'd have to be talking about players whose careers were very short. The odds that at least one guy on the team had either played for another team, or wasn't a starter his whole career, are pretty high.
