Redbull
The Legends Hockey League (LHL) is a player-based sim league in which you take on the persona of the next, well, legend of hockey. With an enthusiastic administrators group and even more enthusiastic pool of members, it would be in your best interest to sign up for this league and stick around because it's only going to get better.Utilizing the most recognized hockey simulator on the market, the Simon T. Hockey Simulator, the LHL allows you to construct your own player and build him to be the best. Like any budding young hockey player, in this sim league, you begin off as a prospect, eligible to get drafted to one of the LHL's 8 teams. You play one season before actually getting drafted and, by the time that happens, the real fun begins. As a player, you might negotiate your contract, participate in training camp, compete for the various league awards, play in the league's international tournament (the World Cup) and obviously make a bid for the top prize in the league - the Memorial Cup. Of course, you are probably wondering how exactly you can build your player up. Well, you do that through completing weekly point tasks. These point tasks are a way to get your player more TPE (Total Points Earned), which will be addressed later. For the writers out there, you can earn your weekly points through means of a "Media Spot", which is a 500+ word article on anything related to your player or the league. For those who are more graphically inclined, however, you could earn your TPE through any form of graphics (usually basic signatures). The more TPE you gain, the better your player will perform in the simulator because you will use these TPE to "update" your player or, in simpler terms, raise your attributes (which can be anything from skating in a skater or rebound control in a goalie). And while the thought of doing a signature or article every week may be overwhelming, as the league members will tell you, it's not as time consuming as one might think and is certainly fun. If this sounds like fun, you want to find out more about the Legends Hockey League, or just are curious about what goes on here, we'd be very pleased if you came over and checked it out at: http://z7.invisionfree.com/LHL/index.php? Redbull
Sorry to disappoint, although I don't think it could compete with the football league.
