kphealey
Oops. I was drawing this logo for the Flag Football logo thread in the Requests forum, only to find out that this particular team's identity was shelved for the time being. That said, I'm an Illustrator novice and would appreciate some feedback on how to improve from here. There are lots of areas (mainly the eyes and helmet) which I don't much care for, but I'm at a loss for ideas right now. I appreciate your input. P.S. I apologize for the file size... like I said, Illustrator novice.
AnythingChicago
That's nice, probably the best designed so far! You should definitely submit it for the contest, get a quick 50 bucks.
sparkychewbarky
2 things kp...Watch the consistency of your line widths. You could have drawn this by overlapping a bunch of geometric shapes and then using the intersect tool.(I think that's what it's called)Also, spend a little more time at the concept sketch stage. If your drawing's not quite right at the start, usually it won't be quite right at the end.But...yer lines (although inconsistent in widths) are nice and clean, and there's a good balance.I'd say it's a decent start. Keep working at it. *The Battle of Seattle
