mkg74
For a talentless hack like myself, I've found Teambuilder means to express my talents. I did these USFL concepts about 2 years ago with lots of tweaking as i've studied how these USFL teams really did look back in the day. They aren't perfect by any means due to the limitations of teambuilder however i gave it my best shot. Here's 6 teams as a sample, feel free to look at any of my other works under the mkg74 moniker. I made alternatives for all the USFL teams, often finding logos from obscure sources and working with them with GIMP. Trying hard to recapture the original look and feel of the league...Would love to hear any C&C...http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1275414762 (Philadelphia Stars)http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1275527146 (Houston Gamblers)http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1275270478 (Arizona Wranglers)http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1320881403 (Michigan Panthers)http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1319251846 (New Jersey Generals)http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2325623240:1283045508 (Jacksonville Bulls)
GriffinM6
Teambuilder isn't good to use for concepts here. You need to use something else

drdougfresh
You know how to use GIMP (based on the OP), so why not grab a free template and work from there? TB is extremely limited, and, IMO, probably the laziest way to make concepts.
