They've added temp seating each of the last 2 years, I would imagine they would have some low seating on the field next year.I can't imagine that seating will be added at Michigan Stadium. First, for the last few of games, you were dealing with baseball stadiums with unique configurations because of rink placement, and Heinz Field, which seats substantially less than Michigan Stadium. If they want, they can get 114K into the stadium next January. As someone intimately familiar with that venue and having witnessed an outdoor hockey game in the stadium, on-field seating would be a fail unless it was right up on the glass simulating NHL rinkside seating. I don't see that happening. It was a great place to watch the game for the Big Chill and I'm stoked for the potential that the WC is bringing.
