elsephen
Alright guys. I've let this one sit for about a week, but here it is in it's current state. The main thing that concerns me is the long stem on the "g" and I'll probably shorten it, but before that I was wanting to leave it open for any other improvements. A bit of branding blah blah... Toragami is the name. Tora meaning tiger in Spanish, and Gami meaning paper in Japanese... I basically wanted a play on "Paper Tigers" and this is the stretch that it become, but I do like the name as it resembles "oragami" as well... ocel0t
I really like the font and the tiger, but for me they don't look good together. The smooth edges of the tiger/square and the rough edges of the font seem to clash. Also, it feels very unbalanced somehow to me with the big T and the orange square.Good start. elsephen
I was thinking the same. Separately I like them better than together, but tying them together has been the issue. Thanks!
Epiphanic
The smooth edges of the tiger/square and the rough edges of the font seem to clash. Perhaps make the tiger with the "brush strokes" of the typeface? That could tie the two elements together. "In the arena of logic, I fight unarmed."I tweet & tumble.
