Feedback for dog logo

I don't know what this logo will be used for, but I am just looking for any way I can improve upon it, along with which one you think is the best of the bunch, right now (or even which has the most potential), with the only differences being color. I like 1, 2, 5 and 6 the most, reason being, I think the darker outline of black works better than the lighter color of brown, but I figured I'd post 3 and 4 anyway.

The only difference between 1 and 3 is the tongue, pink compared to red. The only difference between 5 and 6 is the outline of the ear and what should have been the outline of the dog with black background for 5, brown compard to white. I think of those two I lean towards 6 over 5, but I don't know. What do you think.

Also, I just realized that I forgot to eliminate the white pupil on some of them for comparison, it looks fiercer without the pupil, but I'm not sure if it does look better or not. Later, I'll post one without the pupil because at the moment, I can't.

I like 6 but I would make the white line grey.
