kiwi_canadian
If this is the wrong forum, then apologies in advance and feel free to move this topic. (Although this is a "concept" of a business idea that has to do with concept jerseys)I had an idea this morning on a possible internet business. I know a lot of people on here have concepts for existing and/or fantasy teams for various sports (although I am focusing on hockey) and I was thinking how many people would want that idea of theirs to come to fruition? My idea is starting up a small (basement size) jersey making business. At first it would only use existing Nike, Reebok, CCM ETC templates and people send in their design and logos they want printed onto a single jersey. I've seen various companies online that you can order 1 jersey and then from another site send in your logo and get them to make it (however sometimes they have a minimum number you can order such as 10). Once you get both you then go to a local shop and they can stitch on all your logos onto your jersey. Why not have all of that in a on stop shop location?Questions:1. Does anything like this currently exist? If so, does anyone have a link to it?2. Would people on here be interested in actually making their concepts a reality? Has anyone actually gone out and done this before (making a jersey)? This would be more of a hobby and not something to really make a massive profit off of, just something for fun to do in my spare time and make a little coin off of it. Like I said, this is just a random idea and if this is the wrong forum, feel free to move it.Thanks for the help.
Benchsitter20
It's a pretty good idea! Right now there's a site that makes "geek" type jerseys for various nerdy topics like "Game of Thrones" and such. As far as I'm aware, the people who run the site use RinkGear.com to produce their jerseys. Their catalog section as well as their FAQ section are still labeled "coming soon" but you can contact them. I'm not sure if there's a minimum order situation from or not. Here's the site for RinkGear:http://rinkgear.com/index.htmlDaves Geeky Hockey concept blog is here:http://davesgeekyhockey.com/And the actual spot to order is here:http://geekyjerseys.com/Good luck with your endeavour! MojoRoberts
This is a really cool idea, I think a lot of us would be into having our designs come to life on a jersey we could wear. http://boards.sports...-league-hockey/
