dfwabel
The current schedule already has creeper up to the last weekend in August which is called "Week 0" due to Bylaw 17.10.3.1, which permits those to play at Hawai'i to play that week along with a handful of FCS games. Some years there's an additional Saturday between the Labor Day weekend and the first Saturday of December when CCG are played. This could be done to ensure two open weeks. NCAA teams also face the same lack of charter aircraft issue the NFL faces. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-31/facing-charter-shortage-college-football-reconsiders-the-bus Transfer rule NB changes are more pressing than redshirt.
