Read this today and thought it was an interesting development. 14 week seasons? Could help drive the realignment or playoff expansion discussion, especially if you have more games to play.

The current schedule already has creeper up to the last weekend in August which is called "Week 0" due to Bylaw 17.10.3.1, which permits those to play at Hawai'i to play that week along with a handful of FCS games.

Some years there's an additional Saturday between the Labor Day weekend and the first Saturday of December when CCG are played. This could be done to ensure two open weeks.

NCAA teams also face the same lack of charter aircraft issue the NFL faces.

Transfer rule NB changes are more pressing than redshirt.
