ldconcepts Posted August 17, 2017 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Once again, the Grand Rapids Griffins held their alternate jersey contest on Uni-Watch, this year the challenge being to design an 80s fauxback. With my entry up for voting today, I decided to share my thought process. I right away elected to use a simple red/white colour scheme to pay tribute to the Wings. I added a full length white yoke, a signature 80s hockey design element, and a matching hem stripe similar to Detroit's. To highlight my simple logo, and matching numbers, I added northwestern chest striping. What do you think? C&C is appreciated, along with votes for me or other designs!
