  1. Texans wasted no time selecting their alternate jersey games for this season. It's unclear if either will be worn for again as the third alternate game. Some have speculated that the red will be worn on Christmas, but this was actually not the case the last time Houston hosted a game on Christmas in 2017. One game that I'd say is pretty much a lock is that the Jets wear black for their Thursday night matchup on Halloween vs. Houston.
  2. The Saints love the gold pants on all occasions besides actual games. Broncos need navy socks to match the helmets, but they will probably wear a different combo every week anyway so who cares. Why are the Jets the only team in white? Vikings are the only team doing white leggings unless I missed one (Jaguars?)
  3. The other NY team is called Gang Green and has mostly worn white and black the past two years.
  4. So the Mets have their black and blue jerseys, which now puts them at FOUR home uniforms and just one gray road uniform. Why can’t they use the black or blue on the road like many teams do with their color uniforms for the sake of variety?
  5. Yeah…these numbers are not legible at all on the TV.
  6. Mariners hadn't worn navy at home all season until last night. I thought maybe they were leaving it for road games unlike last season when it was worn often at home. Looks like it's back in the mix. A's finally broke these out last night for the first time in about a month (April 2). I was worried they were shelved for good. Still haven't seen them for a road game.
  7. It took the Mets just two days to go off schedule and wear the City Connect jersey on a random Monday night. I read that the Rays are going to wear theirs for a couple of road games? Didn’t even know that was allowed
  8. This will look awesome when they wear rally caps, but otherwise won't ever be noticeable.
  9. Get ready for a pointless brown helmet. This was such a terrible decision by the league. I don't know how much more revenue alternate helmets will generate, but I can't imagine it's enough to justify the NFL looking like a semi-pro league.
  10. Pretty sure this is a Guardian cap:
  11. I can live with the numerous options having been forced to look at these two bland uniforms for most of my life: That is one positive of the new set is that we will get more variety and they hopefully won't get as stale over time.
  12. 1. Jets — Very solid all around aside from matching socks. No stupid gimmicks or weird design elements is a huge plus, and even their crappy black alternate at least uses the same template as the other sets, which sadly is worth noting in today's NFL. 2. Lions — Lack of pant stripes is the obvious issue with these. Alternate is decent and better than their old Color Rush, and they at least use the correct logo on the helmet unlike the Texans. 3. Texans — Home and road sets are fine, although I was hoping they would incorporate more red. Alternate uniforms/helmets are weird and don't look like the Texans. 4. Broncos - Just okay. I like the mix and match possibilities, but the white helmet is awful. At least it isn't the primary as was rumored. The sock situation looks like it's gonna be a disaster, which doesn't help.
  13. Do the Texans have any photos of the uniforms that aren't closeups in dark lighting or awkward angles of players flexing/posing? The site doesn't seem to have much. Also looking for some different combinations if they did that at all.
  14. I agree. They added more orange to the road jerseys, but it still feels like orange is the home color and navy is the road color, which has been an issue since they made orange the primary in 2012. Was hoping the rebrand would solve this issue since they got to start from scratch.
