Expansion on an idea I had a few years ago...

IMO, they missed a chance here to go Navy-Red instead of Red-Navy. As in - Navy primary jersey, Navy numbers on the white jersey, outlined in red. It could have been a nautical navy, playing off the "water" as primary. It would have been the only dark blue in the league (NOLA is royal blue), and really go for a red-white-blue combo (red helmet). So close......
Except they're the Generals, not the Admirals...

I love them all. The breakers are sexy as hell. Michigan gave me everything I wanted. The Generals, I mean... *chefs kiss*
Begs the question: How did the WFT cøck up their unis so badly?

I love how big the Super Bowl logos are on the field this year. This is how they should always be.

No saving this one.
This rebrand is a failure, and it's disappointing because how many clean-slate opportunities do you get with an NFL franchise? An AAF team name, a completely disjointed and badly designed uniform set, no "real" logo mark, and a feeling of "rushed" when they had 2+ years.This. Is. Bad.

Pay Arkansas State whatever you have to, build them a new athletics facility, whatever it takes to get the Red Wolves name, Hell... just take the heat and go back to Rėdskins, because this? This ain't it.
Oof.

With all that being said, I don’t know if this is good news or bad news.
Looks like they ARE scrubbing all the marks off the field and will paint it in the format they have for the last 6 years.
Imagine that...

The trend to remove the Conference Logos and not have the endzone wordmark outlined continues to piss me off.
For christsake, the SB is the AFC vs. the NFC!!
The Bengals and Rams wordmarks are not keylined in their style guides. Putting a keyline on them in the endzone would be incorrect

I think it’s easier for them to use one of the endzones the Rams currently use. I know Tampa had a new endzone last year in their own stadium, but they also didn’t play the NFC title game in Tampa. It’s a quick turnaround for the field crew. I think they will use the LA logo, not the Rams head, and have the Rams written in white. The only way, I think, we see the Rams logo, is if they use the endzone from yesterday’s field, which was similar to your mid 2000’s design. I hope I’m totally wrong, but I think they take the easy way out.
That's not how these things are done.

Wanted to see how things looked with "oversized" logos in the endzone....
I don't hate it...- 7

I wouldn't mind even something like this... but even this won't happen. The Super Bowl fields under Goodell have become so boring, and do not have the "look" of the ultimate championship game of the sport.

wouldn't the enzones be reversed? seeing as the Chiefs had the left endzone last year?

First logo.
Second font.- 1

Could have been so much better... It doesn't look like a championship... it looks cheap, slapdash... *sigh*
At least we got the yellow endzone...- 1

The wordmark is red for the chiefs it looks like... which means yellow gold endzone

I hate all of this....

Is there a chance it's just the logo for San Fran? I'd rather both have a helmet but since it's clear KC wont have a helmet, maybe we can get some sort of consistency and have just the logo for the Niners as well...
