  1. Eww, this is :censored:ing GROSS.

Also, Fresno is such a dopey ass little town. They always try to do this state flag pride branding and instead of it coming across all cool and fresh how they want it to, it always just comes across as kinda lame at best and infringes on Sacramento’s iconography at worst.

I've said it here, I've said it in real life, I've said it anywhere it can be said: Florida Man takes our eye off the ball. Florida is weird weird, but Arizona is mean weird.

I swear I saw this same comment on a Deadspin article just last week.

Doesnt make it any any less on the mark, though. The heat :censored:s with your head, I swear.

Yep.  Weber State is 100% as well.  Utah State and Wyoming isn't far behind at 97% and 96% respectively.

I’m not sure if it’s a literal 100% acceptance rate or if it’s still true, but when I went to ASU, Grand Canyon University accepted anyone with an Arizona license. I think they even took care of a good chunk of tuition, too. And they were SUPER lax on this one, also. Basically, if you had ever changed planes at Sky Harbor, you were Arizonan enough to get that deal. I almost went there to work on a masters degree after graduating simply because it was damn near free. If not for how much I HATED Arizona and it being so strictly Christian, I would’ve probably wound up there.

  4. The thing I’m not really getting is the markets. I get St. Louis, but why would you want to try to embed yourself in so many markets that already have NFL teams? That seems like a pretty steep climb right from the get go. The one thing I think the original XFL sort of got right was aiming for smaller markets like Orlando and Birmingham. I can’t really see markets like Dallas and Seattle, which are already super crowded as it is, getting behind this.

I’m sure this has all been mentioned here before, but this league intreagues me about as much as the left over Chilis takeout I have in the fridge from two weeks ago. I’m kinda in the dark on this whole thing. Do they have any rationale behind why they think that’s going to stick?

Also, the fact that half of these teams are playing in NFL stadiums shows me how much of a threat the NFL finds this whole venture.

I'm starting to think the whole controversy was a farce from the get-go and those that promoted this fake controversy took advantage if a very vulnerable group that lacks the emotional maturity to see nuance in an increasingly complex world.

Youre just now starting to think that?

I mean, welcome to the club, but...
