  1. DMV? Never heard of that in a Washington context. I understand it mean DC, Maryland and Virginia. Anyway sounds quite weird since it share abbreviation with Department of motor vehicles

On a separate note, it seems as though Portland, Orlando, Washington, Houston and New Orleans haven’t had any type of leaks yet. Which is remarkable so close to what we expect as the release date.

Portland and New Orleans were leaked in NBA 2k22 trailers. Orlando showed teaser on a twitter.

If you're gonna remove something it's gotta be the gradient. Pinstripes have real significance and the honeycomb/gradient pattern has never been something that's been on a Hornets jersey except for I think a couple City jerseys.

But on the other hand if you remove gradient with honeycomb you'll basically receive classic jersey with different wordmark and numbers so kinda like 17/18 Rockets City which had chinese wordmark instead of latin. Also honeycomb/gradient combination got strong significance from their iconic court.

Any guesses who’s “pitifully chaotic” City Edition might leak today?

I'd say Houston. They might to incorporate pajama mixed with McDonald's uniforms with colors of San Diego. 2nd guess maybe unused Jazz? Phoenix one was pretty much chaotic and they ditched it.

I see the point you're trying to make, but I feel like it's still closer to the SD Clippers font than the 76ers.

Disagree with you, it's basically Sans Serif version of Sixers font.

Needless to say, the NBA has never had a good track record with producing accurate throwback jerseys.

That's true, it started with champion trowbacks and later go on with another suppliers.

BTW this wordmark is from 87 to 10 because that from 10-15 got different "e"

Another Sactown wordmark... Would we ever seen "Sacramento" again?

The San Diego number font doesn't really fit, but it's otherwise great.

So that potential leak from 2k was right about 90's wordmark but rest not. I got mixed feeling because overall colors and design itself (don't mean numbers, nob and wordmark) are almost same as 17/18 City except v-neck collar and details on trims so I hope they won't be lazy and shorts would be kinda different than 17/18.

Take it from someone who goes to multiple games every year, ALL of those colors are routinely worn to games as if they are all official in some capacity.

Change to black/white/yellow wouldn't resolve that problem but make it even deeper. Smith is naive or dumb or both if he think that changing an identify will cause people to ditch all other jerseys they wearing. It won't happen.

  7. Nets is fake, not only NBA logo but on catalog photo stripes and stars are only on one side not both.

Thunder? Big meh but I guess Love's board are very happy because their logo is the first thing that catching your eyes on that jersey.

  8. Speaking about 76ers, it's pretty sad that NBA got problem with recoginze NBL as their preceder because Sixers should have a Classic uni too since they were established in 1946 just like Celtics, Knicks and Warriors which received a Classic uniforms.

J-note will be kept around in "some form."

“I’ll never forget when you called me and you were like, ‘Hey, my mom wants to know what the Jazz colors are, and we can’t figure it out,’” - Ryan Smith

Yeah so you know the problem and do everything to confuse things even more.

That's sound like a disaster to me. He needs to listen a fans.

  10. For this new Lockervision I don't like that you can't open things in a new tab, but everything else is a step forward.

Site is much cleaner, more intuitive, better looking and there are much more information (even if many of them are nike speak) about uniforms themselves rather than "Team x wear this and Team y wear that".

I wish they add in near future an archive for past seasons, it would be amazing.

Chrome helmets and white gloves need to go the way of the dodo bird.

White gloves are not that bad as chrome helmets. Those should be ditched asap. Overall nicely uniform. Wouldn't be suprise if Kings quietly go back to this logo in near future.

  12. By the way anyone notice that shirseys have regular NBA logo on back instead of 75th? And I don't mean diamond effect but "75" instead of "NBA" in shield.

That was my first thoughts too but on the other hand outlines are similar to this (although we know there won't be any rainbow):

I was hoping for Wine or even having the Rocky Mountain Rainbows on.

Wine rainbow was in last season and Nuggets in press release said it's gonna be last uniform from Rocky Mountain series. You need to follow announcements.

    Lamar Hunt Bridge.

Margaret Hunt Hill not Lamar Hunt and it wasn't to honor a bridge but True Maverick (whatever this is) according to Mavs and nike.
