I wonder what that set would look like with teal pants. Black Jersey/Teal Pants and White Jersey/Teal Pants are some underrated combos from the current Jaguars set.
I don't think it would nearly as nice as the white pants. The white pants would have even made the black shirts tolerable.

The first five pics, sure... not so sure about the monochrome all-black combination....

First season out of the lockout was still the goat head, then a season with the slug on the old template, then Edge hit.
Yeah. For whatever reason, I remember the 2007 season more so than 2006.

The 06 Sabres are genuinely one of the most heartbreaking "what if" stories in sports history. They lost 4 out of their 6 defenseman to injury before Game 7 to Carolina and still had a one goal lead going into the third period. And then lost that game in part because of the puck over the glass rule, which is one of the worst rules in sports and we've been trying to change it for 15 years now. If healthy that would've been the first time in Buffalo's championship drought since the Bills played the Giants that they played in a championship final where they had the better team. They probably would've handled Edmonton fairly easily and won a championship for Buffalo.
This is a good recount
... and we would have had the Buffaslug forever be a symbol of success!

The Arizona Coyotes are going to announce their plan to fill the arena to capacity for every game in two weeks.
By removing all the seats?

They need to center the quarter and time. Overall it's fine, even though it's really just a simplified version of what they had for the scorebug. They gotta decide what theme to stick to, though, because the scorebug's really simple and flat but then they're using all these 3D graphics and animations for all the other graphics
That sort of bugs me. But, I love the simplicity of the fonts to the point where I can live with the off-center positions. It's far less distracting than the Fox or ESPN. I will wait and see when a team scores.

USA Today was right, "A Phenomenon"

... and then Tottenham beats a team... in the 8th tier.

Yeah, but the longtime mayor of Mississauga was known as "Hurricane Hazel.," so it would have been a tribute to her. I looked, and she is 99, and very much not dead.
Well, the sports teams at Hazel McCallion public school (grades 6-8) are known as the Hurricanes

I was speaking, specifically, to the history and tradition of the Argonauts. Why should the Argos' decisions on any aspect of their branding be dictated by what the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC, or other pro sports franchises in the market elect to do? The Argonauts' history and tradition began establishing itself before that of any of the other pro sports teams that now call the market home.
I understand that. It was really more of response to Gothamite said about preferring city initials. I prefer the 'A' myself.

The primacy of the A in Argonauts' logo history speaks to the team's roots. It was founded as a subsidiary of the Argonaut Rowing Club in 1873. In fact, the rowing club owned and operated the team until it was sold to independent operators in 1956. It was referred to as the Argonaut Rowing Club football team, the A.R.C. football team, and the Argonaut Football Club for its first decade of operation. It wasn't until the early 1880s that the place name "Toronto" was first used as an identifier for the team, and even then only informally. Argonauts or Argos was the preferred sobriquet, as there were other Toronto-based teams competing in (rugby) football competition that utilized the city's name in their identity. Hell, the only Ts that appeared in the team's logo for over a century were the pair in the "Pull Together" slogan.
History & Tradition > any city vs. nickname initial debateThen again, Toronto's sports teams have not had much of a tradition of 'T' logos

You're not alone in that ... *pulls collar* ... boat....

I am not how to feel about this. While it's nice the boat is back, I would rather it be a secondary logo.

Let's face it, the NHL would put ANOTHER team in Atlanta before they put one in Hamilton.

108 diamonds would have made more sense if it were the Cubs.
I dig the baby shark on the inside. Not the first time a shark ended up inside the ring finger.

I suppose the only thing I really miss are some the announcers/commentators who have retired and/or passed away like Dick Enberg.
