  1. YES! Michigan did the smart thing going full-size helmet logo. The 1 downside - no number outlines (light blue!). Plum was a good jersey choice (instead of the champagne). Contrasting pants help the look. I hope both pants (home and away) end up being the SAME color.
  2. IMO, they missed a chance here to go Navy-Red instead of Red-Navy. As in - Navy primary jersey, Navy numbers on the white jersey, outlined in red. It could have been a nautical navy, playing off the "water" as primary. It would have been the only dark blue in the league (NOLA is royal blue), and really go for a red-white-blue combo (red helmet). So close......
  3. I hope it's just the lighting here, but I am not liking the 2 different pants greys. If there wanna go charcoal, I'm good with all that. But these promos don't show the secondary logo on the uniforms (the "football H"). Mis-matched side panels don't work for me. And I hope they didn't borrow TB's pants for this promo...that would just be ..... wrong.
  4. Personally, I think these are top-2 in the league. The stripe on the uniform top continues on to the pants, which is what HAS to be the case IF you go there. Nothing too radical with the numbers, the block shadow minimized the black. And I personally think the tertiary logo on the sleeve is perfect as a foil to the main logo. Also appreciate that they went grey/silver pants to match the silver helmet for both sets. No monochrome here - good!
  5. Disagree on all points. But just my opinion.
  6. Generally good. Like the squared numbers. Would a gold(?) jersey with wine-colored numbers have been better?
  7. What if......and I'm just spit-ballin' here.......they go for a premise where the space needle is like a giant "radio" tower emitting sound waves. The bottom supports could rest on soccer balls, with a killer whale jumping out of the bottom "negative" space. Coming out the whale blowhole is a spray, with a soccer ball resting on it. The center stanchion for the space needle/tower is navy blue, and decorated on it could be letters for the team's name: S-E-A-T-T-L-E S-O-U-N-D-E-R-S FC. Focus is on the colors black, white, and navy blue, trimmed in the action green. IN the background of the logo is a single shield in the "loose" shape of the NFL (or MLS) logo in black and white. Or...go with a medieval-style coat-of-arms logo shield, bisected diagonally. The top right in navy blue background shows a killer whale leaping over a soccer ball. The bottom left in action green background, shows a silhouette of the space needle in white, trimmed in black. The diagonal stripe can be in either white with black separation or black with white separation. Over the shield, spaced to fit corner to corner: SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC.
  8. Your honor, I'd like to call @TruColor to the stand.......
  9. On the subject of the Panthers - my opinion: 1. I don't like the parallelogram - at all. It's a rather awkward logo angle to even work with. yeah, its unique. So what? It causes problems on critical elements - helmets, for one. 2. I really don't like the alternate logo. Looks, well, weird, to me. Like it was forced to be what it is - an oddly shaped M (at best). Bonus opinion (not logo related): truly think, before the draft is even held, that the Panthers will win USFL Bowl I (or whatever they call it). Jeff Fisher is far and away the best coach in the league, by miles. His football mind alone will lead them to the best record in the league. (Kinda like Spurrier did in AAF).
  10. I tried https:// www washingtoncommanders dot com --> http://www.washingtoncommanders.com/ Wasn't working as of when I typed this. ---------------- I also checked the wayback machine for www.commanders.com --> got this: THE COMMANDERS CLUB To celebrate the life and style of a Scottish peasant named Bond, James Bond. The Commanders Club celebrates classic 007, centered largely on writings of Ian Fleming and the classic Bond films Dr. No through Diamonds Are Forever. We maintain one of the larger collections of classic 007 memorabilia in the world, hold periodical events that immerse attendees in classic 007 style, and travel globally to discover and document the footprints and fingerprints of the 007 canon in the real world. New membership has been closed since 1990 after the first 1,000 global associates were accepted. The gist of our offerings and activities are available in the departments below.
  11. Seriously though, I think WFT kindaONpurposeACCIDENTALLY leaked they were having 2 different color helmets in the video with Doug Williams and that other guy. Of course, it's hard to take Doug seriously when he says he was a [WFT] for life (or something similar), knowing he was the Buccaneers QB at one point before he won his SB with the team formerly known as the ___________.
  12. OK - for Chris's (and everyone else's) benefit. Found some .PNG versions for this here website (in the spirit of full disclosure, found them at Fox Sports):
  13. Interestingly enough, with enough digging, you can find logos for a bunch of the minor league baseball teams that they used in the Latino Heritage games (is that the proper wording??). @ChrisCreamer - is there any thought to perhaps including them on the site here? And, @TruColor, do we know any of the color sets (I realize these may not have been released). ??? Anre they bringing these games back for 2021??? My apologies if this was discussed somewhere else....I didn't see it when I searched for a topic. Examples: vs And vs.
  14. Hey moderators...didn't see this question anywhere, so I am asking here. I think I saw the "unofficial" tweet from Colorwerx that there might be some synergy between this fine site and his color scheme for graphics. So if we go visit a graphic on this site to look it up (say, from the Arizona Cardinals), how do we know if it is color optimized or not? Is there a tagline somewhere? Secondly, I was wondering if there was some effort to standardize the sizes of the graphics (like 1000 px width or height, for example). I thought all of his graphics were a standard size? Maybe I am way off base, or got my information wrong, or did I? I guess I am asking because it looks like the graphics on this site are widely varying is size. Thx in advance for the answer
