I put up pics of the Packers season ticket holder rings.
Blogspot apparently doesn't like hotlinking, so I'll move them to Photobucket soon.
I like those better than the team rings.

Throw you in the Atlantic.
Sincerely,
Max
Thanks for your trolling contributions.
That guy is still around?

Almost forgot, is this the ring we're talking about? What year is it from?
No I had the 2009 Big ten/rose bowl ring. Thats the new big ten ring. I never owned it. Picture below.
Also why would someone make a knock-off 2001 Iowa independce bowl ring? Really come on. Here are the manufactors markings for each ring. You dont want to believe so be it. I know what I have
Quite the contrary dude. I want to believe you. I just want to make sure your sources are legit. My guess is any ring I decide to pursue is going to cost some decent money. So yeah, I'm going to be extra cautious. It wasn't my intention to offend you or anything. So if you want to, PM me and hook me up with your guy with the Ohio State ring.

One other question. A lot of your rings look like one of these. Clearly, that's a replica ring. My question is are these rings pretty decent in quality?
I've been wondering... are they considered to be the same as counterfeit jerseys?
My guess would be yes. I'd imagine that, just like any other merchandise, rings are licensed. What we're seeing on EBAY are probably a bunch of cheap and illegal counterfeits.
-
Yes what you see is a replica in that link..but no the quality is ! Alot of times they will use a picture of a real ring so it looks like a million dollars. Then you get it and it looks like . Mine are all real, i don't buy fakes or replicas.
If your looking for an Ohio ring, I can tell you where my old one is. I believe he still has it. All depends what you are willing to spend.
No offense, but some of yours look like knock-offs. That's why I asked. Also, "Ohio" is a school in Athens. I'm looking for an Ohio State ring.
Also, I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just want to make sure I'm dealing with someone who's legit before I start looking into something that's going to be very expensive. How about showing us some player's names or inscriptions or something that clearly shows those rings are legit.

not hard really, alot of people selling rings. I can give you the name of 4 websites. If your wondering where the Ohio ring is i traded it for my new 2006 gators ring.
Fair enough.
I'll take the name of those websites. If the price it right, I may be interested in an Ohio State ring.

How are you able to get your hands on these?
Good question. I don't want to call bull- but I have to wonder. Maybe he could take a picture of his collection and include a little CCSLC sign. Then I wouldn't be so skeptical.

Update: November 19 has signed a three year deal with July. Interesting move.

Edgewood (AL) Academy 2010 AISA 2A football championship ring.
Wow, you can't even get a wearable ring at the high school level.
-
Ugliest, gaudiest, Super Bowl ring ever. And that's saying something.
-
Steeler fans claimed that? I never pegged them as the willfully-ignorant type.
They aren't "willfully-ignorant" because that would mean they had a choice in the matter.

The NFL didn't exist before Super Bowl I. Everyone knows that right?

link to every Super Bowl ring: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/1104/super.bowl.rings/content.1.html?eref=sihp
I'd like too see pictures of all the rings BEFORE the super bowl
Here's the 1964 Browns NFL Championship ring.
You can see some more of them here. That site also has conference champs and AFL rings.

Anyone have a shot of the sides of this ring?
From what I see so far, they're pretty classy. I like.
Two or three pages back there are some really good shots of it. Or you can check it out here.

new texas rangers AL Championship ring
I think Texas got the better deal out of these.
Agreed. A lot of League Champions rings are better than the actual WS rings. I think it's because they don't spend as much on the League Champions rings and as a result they don't end up being as gaudy.
-
Its a little too understated for my taste.
That surprises me. I guess I just figured you for the understated type. -Dan is into the bling. Who knew?
-
Looks pretty big but it's wearable. (Wearable just doesn't sound like a real word does it?)
-
Two more rings that I just added to my collection
How much you want for that Ohio State ring?
-
I didn't go back and read 11 pages to see if this one has been posted but... This is an interesting design. I'm guessing it's modeled after old Busch Stadium. I'm not sure if I like it but I have to admit it's unique.
-
I don't think I would wear my ring everyday. Not because I wouldn't want to, but because they've gotten so large and obnoxious they're not really practical for everyday wear.
No argument there. At least MLB hasn't quite reached the NFL level of absurd championship rings. I haven't gotten to see a Giants ring on someone's hand yet but in the pictures it looks like it might actually be small enough to wear.

Is that where the fantasy football people get theirs?
They seem pretty easy to get. Take a look.
You know, $250 as a gag gift for the winner of a league is not that bad provided everybody chip in at the beginning of the season or everybody else pays for the winner.
I have a feeling that there are plenty of people out there who don't see those rings as a gag gift.

Don't quote me on this but I think officials get a special ring commemorating that they officiated the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup finals, World Series, etc. I'm pretty sure they get something.
