I think they're trying to compete with Utah's helmets...but they don't need to. 

they have one of the most recognizable brands/ unis in CFB and they chose to burn it to hades. Just be you BYU.

it's pretty amazing that a great uniform (Saints white color rush) can go straight to hell with a simple helmet change.

NC State (w/w/r) / East Carolina (p/p/g) is sneaky great with teams contrasting  nicely.

the white pitchforks are terrible on the gold helmets. Just go with Sparky on all of them.  And drop the damn mid major/ High school asymmetrical logo/ numbers on the helmet.
