Definitely the 1960? Raiders. Looks like they wore black helmets for their first few seasons. They just don't look right in black and gold.

love that font, but they did look like the bears.

Why do the Saints hate gold so much? It's so bizarre

well, Cam Jordan is pushing hard to bring back the ugly gold jerseys from the late 90s. Even tweeting at Sean Payton while coach is on his honeymoon. Cam been hit in the head one too many times...and I'm a fan of his. We are way more likely to see the 69 preseason black Saints helmet and jerseys.

It was a bit too close to denim for me. With Seattle's monochrome it reminded me of this.

throwing back to the Little Details you love thread, I love that Justin's jacket has a Levis jean pocket as his breast pocket. He should have had a bandana as his pocket square.

To be fair - and I can be wrong since I’m about to type something before researching it - but weren’t the original 1950s jerseys worn with a silver helmet?

@Brave-Bird 08's Bengals concept is one of my favorites on these boards. He tried out the orange to white gradient and it looks pretty good. I would be fine if the bengals went for these, though with a tweak to the pants stripe.

pretty solid. I prefer the full body leaping tiger on the sleevecaps, but that's a minor quibble.

SN: I used to love seeing these UNC throwbacks on TV back in the day. Part of me hopes a white jersey/carolina blue pants version of it becomes a reality in the future.

If I had to change anything about these, I'd thin the stripes on the pants and shoulder caps, but I love me some drop shadow numbers.

UNC vs TAMU looks really good. I rarely say this, but I think more colored accessories would’ve really made it pop. Some blue socks/maroon socks would’ve added a lot to an already great looking matchup

Love UNC Throwback look. A&M needs stripes on their pants (or socks.)

Sure each team individually looks great, but put them together and it’s just an overload of the same color scheme (obviously there’s limitations).

This is one of those occasions where Icy whites would have been good for Cincy.  Or black helmet with the rest white.

  9. Marshalll v Buffalo looks pretty great in the Camellia Bowl Bright school colors by both teams. No black nor gray, No chrome helmets  Nice contrasting tops and bottoms... HOW IN THE WORLD ARE THESE PROGRAMS GOING TO ATTRACT RECRUITS?

  10. I didn't think the Canes looked bad (except for playing the game) but we could have had a nice orange v (mostly) carolina blue matchup and instead got all black v (mostly) white/ navy. I think the Canes should keep the design elements (striping and number font) and go with orange/green/white unis.

Michigan State To Wear “Gruff Sparty” Helmet Against Penn State

    December 10, 2020 - 22:51 PM

The Michigan State football program will wear green helmets with a retro “Gruff Sparty” logo on both sides this Saturday against Penn State (3:30 p.m. ET on ABC). The “Gruff Sparty” logo was used by the Spartans’ basketball team during the 1977-79 seasons, though its origins in East Lansing trace
