Carson Wentz traded to the Colts for a 3rd Round pick in 2021 and a conditional 2nd round pick in 2022.

Bears called out the Eagles bluff for 2 1st Rounders.

Lmaooooo. That’s all the Eagles got for him? They’re only getting that return and paying Wentz nearly 34 mil for him to NOT be on the Eagles? 😂

(although I can’t laugh too hard considering the Cowboys have yet to resign the best QB from that draft and have a real possibility of losing him to Free Agency next offseason).

  2. Why is the MLS, as a whole, really pushing this BFBS bs? It seems like every team that had black as it’s secondary color, has promoted it to its primary color.

It’s a shame too because that crest is really lovely and would look amazing on a blue shirt.

As do I... which is why I was eagerly anticipating picking one up. That said, the LOS ANGELES looping on the cuffs is too off-putting a design flourish for me. The inaugural season home jersey and anthem jacket remain my only LAFC clothing purchases to date.

Completely agreed. I think for me personally, I just have such an itch to buy another kit because like you, I only have the inaugural season’s kits (I did buy the away too), that I’m willing to overlook it. I haven’t liked our last two kits at all.

I completely disagree. It looks like a thing one would buy in the store that was made by Mitchell and Ness, not a kit to be worn on the field. And I really, really hate the cuff having LA on it.

Me and my brother have been season ticket holders since the OG season, Expo Originals, and we've not been inspired by any of the kits the club has brought to the field. Which feels like a sacrilege considering we are in LA and black-and-gold should be impossible to make boring, we should always have some of the dopest kits in the league. Feels like the club is for whatever reason risk-averse with the kits. Look no further than Philly's new strip to see how dope it can be if you really, really go for it. LA's being far too safe on the kit space for me.

Respect on being part of one of the OG supporters and part of the 3252! I have never had more fun attending a sporting event than I did going to a LAFC game. Best sports experience of my life. The singing and dancing while cheering on our team was incredible.

I want to attend a Sounders, Timbers and ATL United match to see how they compare.

You didn’t buy one of the original kits? I thought our inaugural home kit was incredible. Especially the small pattern that was only noticeable up close.

I can see what you mean though. I’m just such a jersey nut for my teams, that I have at least one (or two) jerseys.

I own an away LAFC kit from a couple years back because I think their branding is A+ across the board...until this one. I don't think I'd have a problem wearing that shirt to game, but I would feel like a dork in it anywhere else.

Which one? The white and gold from the first season?

Personally, I hated their last clash uniform. The white and silver.

I feel similarly. I really dislike the cuffs. It would very tacky anywhere outside of a match. But I love that color.

When it comes to jerseys, LAFC really doesn't want my discretionary income. The "linen" color of this new away kit may end up looking terrific, but the LOS ANGELES looping around the cuffs is a deal-breaker.

Despite the cuffs having Los Angeles on it, I actually really love this kit. It’s very clean and sharp. It’s great choice for our clash. I get why the cuffs are a deal breaker though. If the kit was any other color, they would be for me too.

I think this will definitely be popular among our fans. This will be the first kit I’ll have bought since our inaugural uniforms.

You know it's odd, I'm looking at this post on both a PC and an iphone, and the "new" sol gold color looks much brighter and yellowish on my iphone compared to PC. Either way, it looks closer to the painting than the old colors from what I can see.

The yellows are not the same, they’re not even close my dude. You can tell not just by the color splotches you posted, but basically watch any highlight video or photos from any Rams’ game this season when compared to the last few years.

I will say, if you’re having difficulty spotting the difference, it’s not necessarily your fault. I don’t know your age or gender, but I do know that men in general have more difficulty seeing more shades of color than woman and that it worsens as you age. Don’t know if that applies to you, but thought it could be useful.

If you can find it, the RGB number values will show that there is a significant difference between the yellows.

I don't think TruColor has the color values of an old painting. The main complaint I see with the Rams new colors is the yellow on the uniforms. That is the yellow that doesn't match the uniforms in the painting. The yellow they use in print & digital marketing is fine. But they chose poorly when translating that to textile on the uniforms.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think teams do account for this in their color schemes? I thought I have seen color scheme sheets (I don’t know what they’re officially called) where they’ll have their main colors and then slight variations for those colors depending on the application.

Like the Cowboys shade of silver they use for the helmets is what they officially declare to be one of their two main colors, but they actually use two different silvers for their jerseys and pants.

Also, mahomes is not that great. He's a perfectly serviceable qb but is no Tom Brady.

That’s your takeaway from this game?

Mahomes is a great QB, not a serviceable one. He’s the best in our game currently. He made some absolutely ridiculous throws tonight that no QB in the league could even attempt let alone make. One of them would have been a top 5 throw of all-time and on highlight reels till the end of time had the receiver caught it (it hit him squarely in the face mask while in the endzone).

All tonight proved is that no QB, no matter their talent level, can survive with a porous offensive line giving up pressures on more than half his drop backs. No one.

The real story of the game was that KC allowed the most pressures in Super Bowl history and TB allowed the fewest. We give far too much credit to QB’s for wins and blame them far too much for losses IMO. If that stat was reversed, we’d be talking about how great Mahomes is and how old Brady looked.

OnWis was right earlier when he said the game was over early in the game because of KC’s o-line.

They have been clearly the better team, but quite a few of the Bucs have been acting like real :censored:s tonight

Let’s not pretend like the Chiefs haven’t done their fair share of that too.

And Hill has been doing that piece sign to defenders for years.

And still... the only active QB to defeat Brady in a Super Bowl... the once and future Eagle Nick Foles.

Foles > Mahomes.  The numbers don't lie.

That’s going to be a helluva trivia answer in a decade. “Who was the last QB to defeat Brady in a Super Bowl?”

  11. The only questionable calls IMO was the DPI against Mathieu and the unsportsmanlike against him right after the TD (should have called Brady for that too if you’re gonna call that at all).

I get why they called something in the endzone, he did push Evans off his route 10+ yards past the LOS, but DPI wasn’t the right call.

    But nothing has been egregious.

KC commits holding or interference on every pass play.  They are simply overmatched on both sides of the ball.

I don’t disagree. They are shooting themselves in the foot. They are in trouble. I just don’t agree with saying the game is over already.

It will be different. Texans were undisciplined. A Tom Brady team will never be undisciplined.

Agreed there, but you still can’t count them out until it’s actually over. They’re 25-2 in their last 27 games for a reason.

  13. Just now, TrueYankee26 said:

    Nope. Game Over.

    I disagree.

You can’t ever count out Mahomes and the Chiefs. I’ve seen them put up 50 after being down by 24 in the playoffs.

Tampa has to keep being aggressive and scoring.

The game is over. The KC O-line is the difference.

Nah, the game is just beginning. This is just what KC does in the playoffs.

Go down by double digits, then turn on the jets.

EDIT: Having said that, I will agree that their o-line is concerning. I haven’t seen a team get after Mahomes like TB has been doing tonight.

Wait til you hear there are  26-year-olds who haven’t seen their Cowboys in a Super Bowl

Try 30 year olds... lmaoo. I was technically alive for the last 3 Cowboys Super Bowls, but I was a baby and thus, don’t remember it.

I love the new scoreboard. Hope CBS keeps it. It’s very clean.

  16. Also, I’m really effing glad he didn’t go to Washington lmaoo. They are stacked everywhere except QB. They have a championship caliber roster. Just missing a good QB. Kinda like the pre-2019 49ers.

  17. This is really good trade for LA. They’re in win now mode, with all of their star players in their prime (including the best player in the league Aaron Donald). I felt like subpar to average QB play has been their achilles heel for the past few years and they only thing holding them back from a championship.

Stafford is still above average to top 12 in the league when healthy. Which is far better than Goff who was average/below average at best.

It’s a hefty price to pay for a QB who only has a few years left in his prime and especially for one who isn’t an elite QB, but he’s such a significant upgrade over Goff that I don’t think it matters.

  18. The only thing the Rams got right are the colors (although the yellow could go a shade or two darker). That blue is incredibly vibrant and beautiful.

    Everything is else is garbage.

The gradient numbers are trash (though I don’t mind the font if you insist on having a non-traditional number font), the stupid chest patch is minor league at best, the segmented horn on the helmet is probably the only redeeming uniform detail of the rebrand in the long term in that it’s better suited for the modern helmet (but it’s still difficult to see the Rams stray away from a design they’ve worn since the 40’s) and the bone jersey/pants are plain atrocious. Burn them. There’s nothing redeeming about those.

They muddy up the uniform and dull the color scheme as a whole for no good reason other than to be unique. White would look far better, and provide a sharper contrast and cleaner look for their awesome color scheme.

The Rams are one of the league’s oldest teams and they should dress like it. They’ve been around since the 30’s but are dressed like an expansion team from the 2010’s.
