I didn't see any of the cowboys' super bowl banners hanging in the new stadium.

The Cardinals painted "Co-champions" on their outfield wall in 2001 when they finished with the same record as the asstros.

The Astros banner from 2001 just says champions. Because they won the tie-breaker over the cards

and i do hate that the canucks changed their banners to match the new look....

imo its messing with the hockey gods....even if they iced a cup champion worthy lineup..they wont win unless they go back to the old banners!

When did they retire Gordie's number? I must have missed that last time i was in the Toyota Center. To the right of Gordie's number you can see part of the Aeros' championship banners that are similar to the Penguins'. The banner on the left is for one of their Avco Trophy championships back in the WHA days.

Here are the Astros retired numbers. They just put them by the score board this season. The seemed to have used a generic number font as opposed to the current jersey font

I always liked the "triple-championship" banner idea, but what would they do if they won another cup in a year where they didn't win the division? It would look pretty weird to have a double-championship banner next to the triples.

The Houston Aeros have a similar banner design from when they won the Turner Cup near the end of the IHL days. I have a pic of it but it is all blurry and low quality so I'll try to find a better one. The Toyota Center is a rather dark arena and the banners are pretty high up there so theres not much light to get a good pic.
