As much as people want it to happen, the Redskins are never changing their name, and any new owner that tries to change will likely be branded a socialist/commie/marxist/Nazi by the fans.
One would be branded a Nazi for removing a derogatory label?
I'm not sure that any intelligent fan would do that, regardless of their allegiance or appreciation for the history of the club as the Redskins.
But there's a possibility given all the irrationality in this country lately.
Only lately?
By lately I meant with the town hall disruptions since 09 and all that.

So I take at that the return of the Phoenix Roadrunners and the lack of the Manitoba Moose is indicative of the Coyotes moving back to Winnipeg?
I loved both growing up, I'm a bit torn between which I'd rather see: Utah Grizzlies or Salt Lake Golden Eagles.
Well, I think the Roadrunners have a better nickname than the Yotes, and the latter team's return to Winnipeg, as much as hockey fans want it, might not come true. If I was in Utah, I'd choose to watch the Grizzlies.
FYI, the Blazers and Steelhounds are both defunct.
True, but they can always come back for a couple years at a time.

Hmmm... interesting topics, so why not do what the NFL will look like in 10 years...
National Football League
American Football Conference
Western Division
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders
San Diego Chargers
Northern Division
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Southern Division
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts
San Antonio Stars (Expansion team, though one can hope...)
St. Louis Bombers (Perhaps a nod to the Greatest Show On Turf)
Eastern Division
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
National Football Conference
Western Division
Los Angeles Rams (The Rams are relocated back to Los Angeles after Ed Roski and his ownership group buy out Stanley Kroenke, who later purchases and then moves the Jacksonville Jaguars to St. Louis)
Phoenix Firebirds (I know, shameless plug...)
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
Northern Division
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Southern Division
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Eastern Division
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Warriors (The politically correct crowd finally wins, after Daniel Snyder loses ownership of the team to a richer and more left-leaning owner)
As much as people want it to happen, the Redskins are never changing their name, and any new owner that tries to change will likely be branded a socialist/commie/marxist/Nazi by the fans.
NFL in 10 years:
AFC West:
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Los Angeles Avengers
Oakland Raiders
AFC South:
Birmingham Jaguars
Houston Drillers
Indianapolis Colts
Tennessee Titans
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals
Omaha Rams
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
All the other divisions would be the same as right now.

I like NBA courts and jerseys from the 90's
Your opinion is popular with me personally.
-
These were some of my favourite oilers jerseys ever
these are my favourite flames jerseys
and the Houston Oilers baby blues were beautiful
Those designs are still popular with me personally.
-
My unpopular favorites
- NY Rangers' Liberty sweaters.
- Jazz's late 90's uniforms.
- Angels' late 90's uniforms.
- Ducks' Disney era uniforms.
- Saints' Jim Mora, Sr. era uniforms.
- Ravens 1996 uniforms.
- NY Giants 80's-90's uniforms.
- Chargers' 90's uniforms.

Really? Nobody has posted this yet?
Perhaps it wasn't posted because after 6 or 7 championships, LeBron will be best remembered as a Miami Heat.
No, he will be best remembered as a douchebag.
Not only will Lebron be remembered as a douche, but he will also be remembered for not being able to win the big one.
-
Man, those divisions were so messed up. It's like they had floating realignment.
Yeah, but remember, it was what the owners wanted simply because it was the only one with Dallas in the NFC East and Minnesota in the NFC Central.
So, if the old NFL alignment from 1970 through 2001 was like a floating one, somebody oughta step out and tell that to Selig before he pulls the trigger on his floating realignment plan.
-
For those who preferred the NFL when they had 30 teams instead of 32, here's how I would've done it.
AFC East:
Buffalo Bills
Indianapolis Colts
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
AFC Central:
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Houston Oilers
Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC West:
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders
San Diego Chargers
Seattle Seahawks
NFC East:
Arizona Cardinals
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
NFC Central:
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
NFC West:
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
Los Angeles Rams
New Orleans Saints
San Francisco 49ers

-
NHL
Campbell Conference
Smythe: Anaheim, L.A. Kings, San Jose, Vancouver
Gretzky: Calgary, Edmonton, Minnesota, Winnipeg
Hull: Colorado, Dallas, Nashville, Phoenix
Norris: Chicago, Columbus, Detroit, St. Louis
Prince of Wales Conference
Adams: Boston, Hartford, Montreal, Washington

You don't have either Chicago (Bobby) or St. Louis (Brett) in the Hull division! HA! You stupid idiot. Realignment fail!
Bobby played for the Jets long before their move to Phoenix and Brett played for a short time for the Stars.

I don't know if anybody else has asked for it, but can someone identify the font the Falcons used for their pre-1998 script?
-
Added points because of the Phillies name.
Looks more like PhiLLLies to me.
-
Former Frankfurt Galaxy tight end Werner Hippler...
...on the Charger practice squad
...as a Cologne Centurion
-
Kurt Warner as a Barnstormer...
...and as an Admiral

Can someone identify the font the now-defunct Admirals used for their wordmark?
