This would be true if they were the Manchester Marlins. In Miami, the vowels are much more dominant than the M, so the alliteration loses its effect. Florida Marlins just sounds better, any way you pronounce it. Flor-da Marlins, Flor-ih-da Marlins, Flar-da Marlins, Flar-ih-da Marlins.

To me, California Kings sounds like a mattress store. Also, you forgot Illinois, unless you're not including multiple teams from the same city. True. But I don't think we have to worry about seeing the Illinois Cubs or Illinois White Sox

How? Florida Marlins rolls off the tongue. They were created when there were no other MLB teams in Florida And they changed it soon after there was another team in Florida. Also, there are 7 states in the US that have and will have more than one pro team per league in each state: California Florida Missouri New York Ohio Pennsylvania Texas Of the teams in those states (not counting New York), only two currently use the state names (Texas Rangers and Florida Panthers), and those two teams are named after something. To me, California Kings sounds just as good as the LA Kings (and better than the unabbreviated Los Angeles Kings). Adding in teams that recently changed their names, you have the California Angels, California (Golden) Seals, and Florida Marlins. All of which sound good.

What about Florida Marlins, which sounds a lot better than Miami Marlins IMO

Johnny Canuck would look a lot better if he was looking forward rather than up. As it is he looks like a dandy.

I like that the Sixers are trying to make PHILA their thing Sixers is always they if they want to switch colors, but PHILA is cool and unique. I also don't get the people who want them to put Philadelphia. Just like Los Angeles and Oklahoma City, Philadelhpia is too long to put on a jersey.

I think the Seahawks current uniforms are the best they've ever worn. And either way, they could never go back to their originals. Those are the uniforms of a mediocre AFC West team.

That's why they have Alternate uniforms. And? The early 2000s Ottawa Senators distinctly stand out to me because half the time they wore the 3D logo and half the time they wore the 2D logo. The Habs are another great example because their uniforms are so historic.

I like how some NHL teams have and had in the past home and road uniforms that don't match. Apparantly I'm one of the few. They add more character to the team.

Why not? I love this look too. I actually really like the Capitals' Edge jerseys as well. Modern uniforms done right. I much prefer this to the eagle, but wouldnt mind them returning to their 2000-2007 set (from nhluniforms.com) blah blah blah two different logos jersey designs it looks good together A good thing about this set is that they got rid of CAPITALS on the diagonal stripe.

And all the Blackhawks need is a few feathers. The Celtics logo is a classic. This is a perfect example because you know exactly what it is representing.

I hate this idea. I hate it so very, very much. Same. By this logic, the Blackhawks logo is one of the worst in sports. No, the Blackhawks logo wasn't that hard to draw, even for an artistic challenged person like me. The ones that always gave me fits was the Buffalo Sabres...and all the wordmark logos... Okay, then what about the Wild logo? Or the Boston Celtics?

I love when home and away uniforms are completely different designs. The Wild have done this well.

The bottom stripe doesn' really go with the rest of it. Where do the arrows come from? And if you look at an actual pic of it, it is really bulky. And it has ugly stitching on the side.
