  1. Kind of looks like Cheltenham Old Style.
  2. If it's vector, it can't be jpg or png. Two completely different file formats.

  4. I'm thinking the same thing. The outlines only follow the paths that are there. If you want to make a path less jagged, you need to remove some anchor points and adjust the bezier curves.
  5. It can be done using the Appearance palette. In this palette, strokes and fills are treated as separate elements. You can add as many strokes as you like, and even change the stacking order of them.
  6. You need to either make a mask, or use the knife tool to painstakingly cut away what you don't want.
  7. Colossalis. http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/berthold/colossalis-bq/
  8. It's a custom font for Florida.
  9. The font on the jersey or the sign?
  10. Just so you all know, I just came here to ask this exact question. Thanks gents. And just so you all know, the technical term for this is "compound path". There are a few ways to make a compound path like this. The pathfinder method is one way. The other method is to select both objects (the primary object and the area to be knocked out) and go to Object -> Compound Path -> Make Compound Path.
  11. Right..I stand corrected on the Thesis argument. I just have never seen anything that confirms that Endzone was the name of the official font. I'd like to see some graphic along that line (and maybe a copy of the font too...)
  12. Do any of you have proof that this is the NFL's official font? All I found when searching for "Endzone" was a list on a freeware site that had no visual examples.
  13. I believe it's Endzone Condensed which is a proprietary font. It's part of a large font family called "Thesis". There is "The Sans" and "The Serif", and most NFL graphics use "The Serif", including Preseason, Playoffs and Championship games, and also for the fonts on the referees' uniforms. http://www.lucasfonts.com/cgi-bin/loadfram...rif/serif-.html
  14. Because you knew I'd answer, right? not sure about Fox...the scoreboard the top of the screen looks like Frutiger, but I don't know about the other graphics. The NBC font is Klavika Medium. http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/processtype/klavika/medium
  15. That's a font called TheFA. It was designed specifically for England's national teams. It is not a commercially available font.
  16. It might be your color format. In Photoshop, a nice deep black is a combination of CMYK or RGB, not just 100% black. 100% black will look gray. That's just the nature of the relationship between print and screen. While something may look nice and dark on screen, if the black is a mixture of CMYK and not just 100% black, there is a risk of misregistration when you print the file, and everything will come out blurry and offset.
