Seems like orange pants are almost automatic at this point for division games. Aside from when the throwback is used.

Really wish they would have switched back to the white facemasks permanently.

Thought for sure this would be a white pants game this early in the season for a 1pm kickoff. These were the only two games with the current uniforms that they didn't choose orange pants for, both in 2021:

The Bears are the only team left who hasn't revealed their jersey games. Who usually gives out their uniform schedule.

Before they do I'll take a guess on their third and fourth jerseys. I'm guessing that Chicago wears orange jerseys against the Panthers for their Amazon Prime game. Maybe at Tampa, like what they did at Miami in 2018. As for their white throwback uniform, the Broncos, Panthers, and Falcons game can be ruled out for that. The possibilities for the white throwback games are one of the NFC North opponents, the Raiders, and the Cardinals.

My guess for the throwback is Week 6 vs. Minnesota, but I would love to see it vs. Detroit for the first time. They've worn it against Minnesota several times and Green Bay once.

I mean my point was that you shouldn't be citing "social media fan reaction" as a way to gauge how nice a uniform is. Most fans will love anything their team releases. If they wore blue socks last night or added a stripe to their white pants it's not like casual fans would suddenly revolt. Most of them wouldn't even notice a difference.

It's like saying, "My hometown is a great city", and when asked for evidence you say that a rock star said so during their concert.

As the guy whose post started all this, I never once said it was a good look. I just said it’s popular on social media and that the team is likely going to keep a similar option when they switch over. I think it’s an awful look.

Assuming that's correct, we're seeing the Jets in green at least three times this season. Week 2 at Dallas, Week 13 vs Atlanta, and Week 17 at Cleveland. If Miami goes WAH in Week 15, that'll be four times. After getting that only once last year, I'll take it.

Miami hasn't worn white at home that late in the season since 2015. I wouldn't count on that changing.

Falcons in black at Tennessee? I thought the Titans would be in blue throwbacks.

Atlanta's game at the Jets will be in white. Will that be NYJ's first appearance of the gotham green jerseys at Metlife?

Nice find. I really hope the Oilers throwback game isn’t color vs. color. Never looks right to me.

Another year of black in Tampa is annoying. I want to see them wear red vs. Atlanta for once.

So the feedback of people on social media who chose to respond.

You DO know that isn't the same as 'most fans', right?

I do not have any factual evidence to back this up. My point is that everything is social media driven these days. How else is the team gonna assess these things? I've seen numerous teams post things like "You guys asked for it", etc.

Sure, they could do polls, but I remember last season for instance, the Jets held a poll for which uniform combo to wear against the Vikings and white over black won comfortably, which pretty much sums it up.

Good grief. Overall I am not looking forward to the Lions new set next season (fearing it's going to be worse than what they have now), but if it gets rid of the all-white and all-gray combos I guess it's worth it.

I guarantee the new set will include a similar all-white option to what they have now. We know it looks awful, but the team and most fans like it.

Seeing that the Rams still do WAH in SOFI bums me out that the Chargers aren't doing it. We've already seem the Chargers in their powder blues against the Dolphins plenty of times.

I agree it would’ve been nice to see Miami in aqua against the Chargers for the first time in the new uniform, but my philosophy in these situations is that I’m okay with the home team not doing white at home because in most cases it’s the other way around and I want the visiting team in white. For instance, if next year the Chargers were to host a rare NFC opponent in Week 1, I’d be glad they don’t do white at home anymore.

  9. Only real news here is that the white Color Rush will be worn Week 6 at Buffalo on Sunday Night Football. Interesting choice. I'm glad it isn't for a home game this year, but the San Fran game would've worked way better to avoid two red-heavy looks for that game and two blue-heavy looks for the Buffalo game, which is now what we will be getting. Not ideal. Maybe Buffalo wears all-red but I doubt it.

Seems like we can count on the Jets being a WAH team again this year if that's the case. Disappointing. Hopefully they don't continue to use the black pants and socks with the white jerseys at least, but I'm not optimistic.

Last year Week 9 was the final WAH game for them. Hopefully they transition to green (and black) for the second half of the season again this year. We do know they are wearing black for the Black Friday game, but there's still Week 13 vs. ATL, Week 14 vs. HOU, and Week 16 vs. WAS that will hopefully have them in green.

Read a while back that the Titans try to avoid wearing white pants on grass. That's why they have pretty much worn Navy pants for all home games.

But this season they replaced their home grass with synthetic turf. Only one preseason game but they wore Navy over White.

They have worn white pants on grass several times, but not often. Such a weird excuse for a professional football organization with top-of-the-line equipment management staff. No other teams seem to have this issue.
