  1. Ren, if it's alright with you, I'll go ahead and pull my request for the ArenaFL logos a page or so back. It's not you, it's just that I'd like to try my hand at updating them.

If I were you, though, I'd just set aside all updates in this thread and focus on what's most important.

Good luck with your training and other projects!

Thanks mr.nascar13, good luck with those updates! like to see them when your done.

Thanks! I imagine they won't be near as good as what you would've done to them, but I'll at least try :)

I'm sorry, but did you seriously call that monster cute? even if it's sarcasm....
You kidding me? How is a turkey a "monster", the things are relatively harmless.

And he is cute, he's just got his mean face on.

Plus, they make for good eatin' :D
  4. Oh, Great and powerful Ren69: I would greatly appreciate it if you could update the following Arena Football League logos:

    6456.gif

    ^^ Toronto Phantoms

    6497.gif

^^ For San Jose, I would just like to see if you could update the cat minus the diamond. I have a font or two in mind for it.

Thanks in advance, Ren! You are the king of updating logos! If you're unable to recreate San Jose, that's fine. I'm more worried about Toronto and Detroit though.

  5. Don't even know if it would be possible to remake this one because the quality is so bad but if you could this would be awesome for the Lions.

This is probably the first one where I (nearly) said to myself: Damn. That is truely amazing. Same can be said with Spearhead's request.

If I could, may I please request an update/slight redesign of this logo:

    shield.jpg

It was used for a long time as well as a raider riding on a horse. But 1-2 yrs. ago, it was replaced by a clipart-like logo. I am still trying to find it, though. I hope this works for ya! Thanks in advance!

  6. Great question! For the 66ers, they asked us to stay away from the Route 66 road sign. There was some trademarking/confusion issues with that emblem and so they wanted to tell the story of the people who worked on Route 66 - particularly the blue-collar mechanics in the Inland Empire. They also wanted a real modern look but also tribute to the minor league logos of the midcentury - most of which were swinging bats. There wasn't an intended Padres connection (different angles of the character as well).

The first time we jumped the shark was the Clearwater Threshers.

  7. I wanna bring up the 66era logo and I have a question for Brandiose. For El Paso, you guys made the Chihuahua swinging the bone, similar to the Padre's Swingin-Friar logo, Which I get because SD is EP's parent club. The same can be said with the Eugen Emeralds' swingin-squatch logo. But I've gotta ask, what was the reasoning behind the Swingin-Mechanic logo? According to the minor league website, they are not an affiliate of the Padres. Was it an idea Inland came up with and you just followed along or what?

  8. So, after 5 seasons of NCAAF 11, here are some of the shakeups that have occurred

-Illinois has been replaced in the Big Ten for 2 seasons now and are now in the MAC. Ohio has replaced them

-West Virginia goes from the Big East to the ACC, replacing Duke

-Utah is in the Big XII, as Colorado has moved into the Mountain West

-Middle Tennessee State is now in the MAC, swapping places with NIU, who is now in the Sun Belt

-Navy has received offers to go from being Independent to the MAC, but has declined each time. So, they are still independent despite winning 65 consecutive games

Also, I think I've mentioned this before on here, I just cant seem to find it. Oh well. I control 30/32 NFL franchises on Madden 11 (lost Houston & Detroit cause I didn't relocate them or improve them). When a team begins to go downhill, there are two options: A.) relocate, or B.) cut down costs, higher prime players, & trim down your roster by releasing players >59 overall. The easiest thing for me to do is relocate. So, without further ado, here are franchises who have relocated:

-Pittsburgh Steelers are now the Boston Admirals

-Oakland Raiders are now the Las Vegas Blackjacks (wanted to keep their color scheme)

-St. Louis Rams are now the Lincoln (NE) Rams

-Arizona Cardinals are now the California Cardinals (in Anaheim)

-Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now the Texas Lonestars (in Austin)

-Miami Dolphins are now the Buffalo Flyers (makes sense, huh?)

-Cleveland Browns are now the Virginia Bulldogs (in Richmond)

When a team wants to relocate, about 1-3 cities give you offers to come to their cities. Most of these cities accepted offers from other cities. In order to keep the team, I chose the cities that gave the most money per year. I also took into consideration of keeping the teams as close to their division rivals as possible. For instance, it wouldn't have made much sense if I put Pittsburgh in Puerto Rico or Alabama and they were still in the AFC North. So, Boston wins the team.

I'm highly considering redoing the franchise mode over only on Madden 12 instead.

So thanks to EA Sports, the NFL is falling apart. Since the end of the 2010 season(currently at he end of the 2015 season) 7 teams have relocated with Dallas and Minnesota struggling to stay put while teams like New England, Chicago, Green Bay, and Baltimore dominate the league every year. Plus, 3/4 of the league will suffer negative incomes following the 2015 season, varying from $300K-$44.2 million. Those that are experiencing profits have anywhere from $650K-$21.0 million.

EA Sports is great isn't it?

  9. I figured I should post these here before they get too sucked into the fiery depths of hell The 300+ pages of old concepts

Here you go: count 'em SIX Football Field Designs compatible for Microsoft Paint:

    Standard Field

    BasicFootballField_zpsa560c07b.png

    Multi-Colored Turf (like Nebraska's)

    Black "Natural Rubber" Field:

    BlackNaturalRubberField_zps4226d673.png

Red "Blood of War" Field (Like Eastern Washington's field)

    RedBadBloodField_zps93db51fa.png

Blue "Smurf Turf" Field (like Boise State's)

    BlueSmurf-TurfField_zpsd58a83e6.png

And, because we all cant get enough pink, a Pink Sideline "BCAM" Field :D :

Enjoy! I will make edits to it if needed. If you want a different colored turf, just post below and your request will be heard!

I think I will edit these at a later date. After looking at other fields and the template I based mine off of, the numbers on these are kinda big and should be pushed up. I don't know if or when I'll update these, but thought I'd throw out that these are not 100% accurate, more like 85-90%

  10. The NFL needs a team whose primary/home jersey is yellow.

while I don't disagree with the sentiment, who would it be? An expansion team? Or an existing team that has a form of yellow/gold in their color template like the Chargers, Chiefs, Steelers, Packers, or Redskins? I cant think of one of them looking good in that.

I loved Pittsburgh's previous alts, the one with thethe yellow block numbers, despite my dislike towards the team. If they brought back that only swap the yellows with the blacks and wolla a nice yellow jersey that Nike could pull off
