  1. We get to the middle of the series!

    BOQUERONES DE MÁLAGA (MÁLAGA ANCHOVIES)

    Málaga, Andalusia

Fried and pickled anchovies are one of the most typical dishes from Málaga, that's why I chose the name of "Boquerones". The primary logo is a B made by the shape of two anchovies, while the secondary (from the alternate uniform cap) is a M with fish hook at its right.

Initially I want to use light blue, taken from the Province of Málaga flag, but in the end I kept it simple, just using black, and the colours from the city flag (purple and green) for the baselayer.

The home uniform is white with black pinstripes, the road uniform is grey, and the alternate is white, featuring purple and green as main colours.

The Castle Makers look solid. They remind me of the Indians.

The only suggestion I have is to get rid of that strange blue band on the pants of the alternate uni.

Thank you, the Indians were the inspiration, actually.

About the navy band, it's made that way to resemble the belt used by the Castellers. But it looks weird indeed, I may change it.

  3. It's time for human castles!

CASTELLERS DE TARRAGONA (TARRAGONA CASTLE MAKERS)

    Tarragona, Catalonia

"A castell is a human tower built traditionally in festivals at many locations within Catalonia. At these festivals, several colles castelleres (group of people who do these towers) often succeed in building and dismantling a tower's structure" Tarragona is one of the cities where these are made, and that's why I chose the name of "Castellers". The logos on the caps are just the letters C and T using the font from the wordmarks.

The colours are taken from the Castellers' traditional uniforms.

The home and road uniforms feature the traditional white and grey, while the alternate is red, trying to make it look like the Castellers' uniforms.

Baseball is not the one of my favorite sports, but, I have to say that Corazones' logo is great. So creative. The Euskara'a teams are my favorites. Keep going!

    Thank you!

MASSIVE improvement on the Highlanders! It went from being one of your weakest concepts to maybe your best. Nice job!

Thanks, your advice was really useful!

I love the cream/off-white color for the home uniform. However, I have a few suggestions:

    -  For the alternate, I would move the player number to the opposite side of the jersey. Having it below the crest looks awkward and unbalanced.

    - I'm personally not a fan of the font you chose. Maybe if you make the first letter of the name larger it would look better.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll change the number position and find a better font for the wordmark (I tried to make the first letter larger and it's not really an improvement).

Might want  to fix those. Logo is a bit too similar to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games logo.

Now that you say it, it looks kinda similar. I'll think in other version for the logo.

  6. Let's continue with the Highlanders!

    MONTAÑESES DE SANTANDER (SANTANDER HIGHLANDERS)

    Santander, Cantabria

In Cantabria there are the "Picos de Europa" (Peaks of Europe), one of the highest mountain range in Spain, that's why I chose the name of "Montañeses". The logo is made by and M and a S put together with a shape that tries to resemble a mountain.

The green symbolizes the mountain and the blue symbolizes the Cantabrian Sea, given the mountains are just 20Km away from the sea.

The home uniform is off-white, the road uniform is grey and the alternate is blue.

  7. Going back to the Central Division.

    REBELDES DE MÓSTOLES (MÓSTOLES REBELS)

    Móstoles, Community of Madrid

Móstoles is famous because it's the place where the Dos de Mayo Uprising (2 May 1808) against the French started, and that's why I decided to call them "Rebeldes". The logo is just a R and a M put together (I originally put a fist in the R, but I put it away in the end).

The colours are taken from the uniforms that Chiefs of State from the Armed Forces used back in the time.

The home and road uniforms are white and grey with navy sleeves, while the alternate uniform is navy with light blue sleeves.

  8. From an island to another

CHACHOS DE GRAN CANARIA (GRAN CANARIA LADS)

    Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

The word "chacho" is typical from the Canary Islands and it's the abbreviation of "muchacho", that's why I decided to use that name. The primary logo are a two C and a G put together, while the secondary logo (from the alt cap) is just a C.

The colours are taken from the flag of Gran Canaria.

The home and road uniforms are white and grey; the alt uniform is inspired by the Brewers, that's why I decided to use light blue.

  9. It's tourism time!

    TURISTAS DE MALLORCA (MALLORCA TOURISTS)

    Majorca, Balearic Islands

I chose this name because the Island of Majorca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. The primary logo is supposed to be a T and a M put together.

The colours chosen are dark purple, which symbolizes Majorca (it's taken from the Island flag) and aquamarine, which symbolizes the summer time as well as the diversity of people who visit the island.

The home and road uniforms are white and grey, while the alternate is purple.

  10. Moving on to the Province of Biscay.

    LOBOS DE BILBAO (BILBAO WOLVES)

    Bilbao, Basque Country

I chose the name "Lobos" (Wolves) because there are two of them in the city Coat of Arms (which symbolize de House of Haro, founders of Bilbao). The primary logo is a B which incorporates the L at its left side. For the logo from the alternate uniform I decided to close the B circle, to turn it into an O, from the Basque word "Otsoen", which also means Wolves.

The main colours are red (from the city flag) and black (from the wolves of the Coat of Arms).

The home and road uniforms and white and grey, and the alternate is green and red, taken from the Basque Country flag.

  11. Going back to the Central Division.

MORCILLEROS DE BURGOS (BURGOS BLOOD SAUSAGE MAKERS)

    Burgos, Castile and León

The blood sausages from Burgos are one of the most famous in the country. For the team primary logo I decided to put together the M and the B, making the left stripe look like a blood sausage (I'll upload the full size logo because the smaller versions don't really show the blood sausage shape).

The main colours are brown and red, taken from the city flag.

The home and alternate uniforms are mainly white and grey, while the alternate uniform is red and brown.

  12. The next team is full of love.

    CORAZONES DE MURCIA (MURCIA HEARTS)

    Murcia, Region of Murcia

I chose the heart theme because it's on the city flag and coat of arms, symbolazing that King Alfonso heart X's rests in that city.

The main chosen colour is red, taken from the city flag.

The home uniform is mainly white with red pinstripes, the road uniform is grey with red sleeves, and the alternate uniform (to be used only at home) is white and burgundy, inspired by the Region of Murcia flag.

After making one team from each zone, we'll be returning to the Central Division.

I'm really enjoying this project so far. The color schemes, wordmarks and number styles you've used have all worked really well.

For future teams, I'd like to see some non-letter logos.

    Thank you, I appreciate it.

I tend to use letter logos because I make the designs in MS Paint (plus WordArt), so it's kind of difficult to make more "complex" logos. But I will try it!

  14. From Barcelona to A Coruña, with a slight name change.

MARINEROS DE A CORUÑA (A CORUÑA MARINERS)

    A Coruña, Galicia

Originally I decided to name this team in Galician (Mariñeiros da Coruña), but the name didn't fit really well in the shirts, that's why i decided to use the Spanish version.

The colours chosen are navy and light blue, which symbolize the sea and Galicia (the flag of Galicia is white and light blue). For the logo wordmarks and numbers I decided to use a font named "Uralita" which is a "Galician folk typeface inspired on ancient stone inscriptions".

The home and alternate uniforms feature the tradtional white and grey, while the alternate uniform uses navy as main colours.

The next team will be one fromf the Southern Division, but I still don't know which one.
