Yes! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Expos https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=0CIyAAAAIBAJ&pg=6549%2C3288334 As far as names to try out- Buffalo Can-Ams (showing unison between the two countries) Milwaukee Brewers (just spin the eM logo into Mb ) New Orleans/Louisiana Bayous (Same number of syllables as Expos and is what the state is known for)
  2. It’s almost like they have a perfectly usable bright red at their disposal and actively choose to ignore it. The AFC South is objectively the most boring and bland division. Too much blue and abundance of dark colors. Houston- for the love of all things holy if the Titans won’t use red more prominently make it yours Tennessee- silver helmets and pants. Emphasize double blue. Get as close to the Oilers of yesteryear without blatantly being the Oilers Jacksonville- the color teal is RIGHT THERE. Oh, and for :censored:s sake USE GOLD. Colts- Literally don’t change anything. Okay, maybe blue pants in regular rotation.
  3. If they’re insistent on the sword stripe on the jersey, make it an actual stripe. Take the points off the sleeves, straighten the stripe out, move the numbers to the sleeve. The number font is fine, but there’s no harm in getting a better one. Make the helmet stripe a standard one. Ditto on the pants stripe. The team has the material for a good set, but there’s too many fingers on this set.
  4. Sans helmet, I do really like the Colts new jersey. It has a good place amongst alternates. I hope it sticks around for a while.
  5. Circling back to city abbreviations in sports- I’m fairly certain I’ve seen BLT for Baltimore somewhere
  6. So why exactly are the Titans dropping the normal Columbia Blue jersey? Are they afraid a completely different style jersey with no trace of red would look too similar to the throwback? Also, this is Year 6 of the current set with no signs of changing.
  7. While it’s not exactly on brand for the Colts, contextually speaking at least the black fits with the rest of the uniform it’s paired with. Detroit’s blue and Denver’s white just look disjointed because neither were intended to be used with the uniform they sit on. Indy’s was designed with the uniform in mind.

Okay so I found a source for the Montreal-Buffalo scenario, but upon reading it lists not only the latter, but also Milwaukee and New Orleans, as backup cities. Early on in the article it does state that Montreal attended the 1933 Winter Meetings with the intent of landing a team. Whether or not that team was the Browns is up in the air. https://tht.fangraphs.com/the-team-that-nearly-wasnt-the-montreal-expos/
  10. Icy White ? Nah SNOWCAPPED BABY
  11. Jeez, is this the Broncos or Illinois?
  12. I’ll take ‘Things that don’t make any :censored:ing sense ‘ for 200, Alex.
  13. All of these throwbacks are incredible, but if I had to pick the worst of the bunch? I’d say Tampa Bay. As far as the best, 100% Minnesota.
  14. JETS or JETS it doesn’t matter. They still have the best helmet in the league
  15. Absolutely love oversized number fonts
  16. That specific uniform, but honestly, applicable teams should meld throwbacks together.
  17. Would’ve prefered a silver helmet Oilers throwback

Future options involving the Expos ”Expos stay in Montreal, but change uniforms to what would’ve been the Nationals” ”Montreal steals the Browns from St Louis 20 years before Baltimore” ”Stadium dilemma never resolved in Expos infancy causing a sudden move to Buffalo” I don’t know how true those last two are, but Wikipedia is one hell of a drug.
  19. With the resurgence of throwbacks and more traditional style uniforms, the current iteration of Seahawks uniforms is quickly becoming outdated. Wouldn’t surprise me if it reached “Reebok unnecessary piping” status.
  20. Shhhh you’ll awaken the “Utah should be [redacted]” crowd Do we really need to get bogged down by the Oilers in Houston broken record? It’s not happening. Tennessee and the Adams family clearly choose to keep the name and history to themselves. End of story. Fin.
  21. What do you mean “Houston go back to the Oilers”? The team never had that name in the first place. Anyway, Tennessee Titans remain, but adopt the Oilers cosmetic identity. Trash the Greek theme. Go full on Industrialist Titan.
  22. This just confirms the Jets are allergic to green
