  1. Super Bowl XXVIII: January 30, 1994 - Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia Dallas Cowboys - 30 Buffalo Bills - 13 < Super Bowl XXVII First Post Super Bowl XXIX >
  2. Here's an alternate look for the Super Bowl logo's. Maybe the box was added because of the green in the logo, but this looks good in my opinion.

  4. That's the first time I've actually heard of that. Wikipedia sums it up pretty good. I wonder what kind of interesting and unique Super Bowl logo would have been for SBXXVII if it were held in AZ. The SBXXX logo worked out good with the numerals, but I don't think they could have pulled it off with XXVII.
  5. On to a place that never needs a retractable roof... Super Bowl XXVII: January 31, 1993 - Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California Buffalo Bills - 17 Dallas Cowboys - 52 The use of vibrant reds and blues looked nice on this field, but I'm not sure why they added the box around the Super Bowl logo < Super Bowl XXVI First Post Super Bowl XXVIII >
  6. If I remember correctly I think it would have cost them $200,000,000 to $300,000,000 more to add a retractable roof. Either way its going to a brand new modern stadium.
  7. The '91 world series would have been played on the old turf I guess. Since we are on the subject of Minnesota's field, its a shame they didn't keep the move out doors permanent with the new stadium, but at we will have two years of true Minnesota football. 8. I'd have to agree with that, Dallas was too good a team that year. Super Bowl XXVIII would then have been the game of the century with a rematch with new champs the Cowboys, and the two time champs and fourth time in a row to the Super Bowl Bills. Do you have a picture of the turf before hand? I'd like to see it. I don't think the Super Bowl turf looked all that bad for what it was, but there was nothing special about it either.
  9. With four straight losses for the Bills, no wonder the AFC lost 13 Super Bowls in a row. Three teams accounted for 9 of the 13 losses, Bills(4), Broncos(3), and Patriots(2). If the Giants had lost their two Super Bowl appearances during this time, the NFL would have shaped out much differently.
  10. Super Bowl XXVI: January 26, 1992 - Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Minneapolis, Minnesota Washington (Commanders) - 37 Buffalo Bills - 24 Slight changes for the (Commanders) from past Super Bowl's. A lighter gold, and a thinner font for the wordmark. This was also the first Super Bowl where the field lines ended 8in from the sidelines instead of connecting to the sidelines. < Super Bowl XXV First Post Super Bowl XXVII >

  12. Super Bowl XXV: January 27, 1991 - Tampa Stadium, Tampa, Florida Buffalo Bills - 19 New York Giants - 20 < Super Bowl XXIV First Post Super Bowl XXVI >

  14. They are one of my favorites as well. Its just a classic NFL look.
  15. I've had the black spot in all of my 49ers wordmarks so far. They had it for XVI I believe and I've only changed the color for each following Super Bowl I've used it. I'll go back and double check it though.
  16. Super Bowl XXIV: January 28, 1990 - Louisiana Super Dome, New Orleans, Louisiana San Francisco 49ers - 55 Denver Broncos - 10 There was a slight modification to the Super Bowl logo for this field, being the removal of the white within the numerals. < Super Bowl XXIII First Post Super Bowl XXV >

  18. Super Bowl XXIII: January 22, 1989 - Joe Robbie Stadium, Miami, Florida Cincinnati Bengals - 16 San Francisco 49ers - 20 This is one of my favorite Super Bowl fields < Super Bowl XXII First Post Super Bowl XXIV >

  20. Super Bowl XXII: January 31, 1988 - Jack Murphy Stadium, San Diego, California Washington (Commanders) - 42 Denver Broncos - 10 I need some double checking on the outline colors of the 50 for both the top and bottom of this field. I was having a hard time making them out. Right now I have red on the left, and blue on the right, consistent with the outlining of the 50 yard line. SFCOM1, if you have a picture of that SB XXII cake you should post that on up here. < Super Bowl XXI First Post Super Bowl XXIII >
  21. Its like they came up with three different ideas they thought were good and didn't know what to do with them, so they just put them all in and stuck them on top of each other. I would say that this logo is 10 times better than any templated logo though.

  23. Super Bowl XXI: January 25, 1987 - Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California. Denver Broncos - 20 New York Giants - 39 < Super Bowl XX First Post Super Bowl XXII >
  24. This has been about as much as i've been able to find, but the best ive found was the giants super bowl xxv wordmark from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT0r8wBL4QU at about 4:22. But from what ive seen and some of my past versions of the field, they didnt use there regular wordmark. also here is a video for super bowl xxi, but i havent been able to get much out of it for the giants wordmark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL7QR7o3_SM Here is what i had from a past version of the field i made: I might just clean this up.
  25. Super Bowl XX on-field logos: Midfield Super Bowl XX Logo Endzones I won't be able to get Super Bowl XXI done for a week or so probably, but I have started some work on it. But if anyone has some good shots of the Giants wordmark that would be helpful and much appreciated.
