Anyone know what font is used for the Nuggets numbers?

Currently it's a custom font that's littered all over their social media, so if you have the patience you could theoretically get what you need.  However, the previous font was Coliseum and the one before than was Aachen.

whatthefont.com tells me this is WTC Banger; anyone know of any free fonts that more or less resemble it?

The first link I see when I search that font is a free download...

I know the All 12 teams had that decals on the left side of the back of their helmet where the decal is during the playoffs except the superbowl

Super bowl xxxi the packers and pats and super bowl xxxii  packers/ broncos  wore special decals on the back of their helmets

I'm not sure I know what you're referencing... Any pictures?

    How would you do that?

Deep in the bowels of Inspect Element, you can find the assets used on a website including the font files, and download them.

Anyone want to help me ID the font the Penguins use for the NOB and #OB for their jerseys?

Looks like the NFL #OB block font for the Penguins #OB, the NFL TV number block for the Penguins sleeve numbers, and the Raiders' condensed NOB block for the Penguins NOB.

I'm curious about the font used for numbers (and likely the wordmark) here:

I think it's a Clarendon variant, I'm just not sure which version.

    10 hours ago, gsn93 said:

I had to google the jersey because the image wasn't loading for me but the numbers are Clarendon Bold. The wordmark is a different font altogether.

It most definitely started off as Clarendon.  The wordmark looks like an alteration of Clarendon Regular (URW is a solid choice for a base Clarendon): adding extra curves on the H and A, making the counter of the O into a capsule shape, flattening the top of C's barb and also thickening its stem, and flipping the upper curves on the T's serifs and stem.  The numbers look like a bad trace of Clarendon Regular that you might find on dafont, however.  I would then suggest using stills from the uniforms in action and tracing them yourself to be more accurate to the on field product than hand-warping Clarendon Regular would be.

    Hey, all!
Looking for the name of the font the Avs switched to for their jersey nameplates starting in 2017.

The font is VERY similar to their old font, but there are distinct differences between some of the letters. The C and G for instance.
I tried Whatthefont with just the below (to lessen curvature) and got no accurate results.

Really, REALLY would love either the font name, or if it's custom and somebody here has put one together, a link would be a beaut.

    Thanks in advance!

I think it's some form of Antenna.

That's close, but I think even closer is Good News Sans SemiBold Condensed, but with various tweaks to the G and S among others.

Also, I find What Font Is to be a tad more accurate than WhatTheFont, which is where I found Good News Sans for you.

Anyone know the closest font to this new Brewers one?

     gM9zpzj.jpg

    That's definitely a custom font.

But on Brewers.com's New Logo page, they use it a lot.

And there are ways to download fonts used on websites.

But I didn't tell you that.

Anyone know the name of the Jets new number font?

That's a custom font.  What I do for new custom fonts like the Jets among others is go to online team shops and look for youth jerseys because those are usually not distorted, or the team's Instagram or Twitter and build it up from various graphics.  In the case of the Jets, it's got a extremely elementary construction with a consistent-degree cut angles typical of most athletic blocks with the only "hard" part being changing the weight of the middle bar for 3 and 8 to be skinnier.

If you want a reference, this is what I put together:

    qfCqyBd.png

    .

    .

    .

Or Chris posts the number font outright and makes it so much easier.  Thanks for making it super easy for the Padres, boss.

Hey man, I know you've been everywhere trying to find an exact font, but this looks like just a super generic athletic block that would be pretty easy to trace.

I'll describe where is a problem. I used that font around 5 years ago to made Spurs from 74 preseason and now I want to use this font again, but I completly forgotten name or where I got it. Whatfont and other site didn't show me exact this font, but very similair (Maybe I edited it? Don't remember). Any help will be appreciate. :)

That's just the serif version of the MLB block that the Brewers throwback and the Twins use.

I would ask that you read this post....

The top 5 leader board seems more or less reliable, but the "show more" option has plenty of omissions that should be there.

Fair enough, I guess you did answer my question earlier.  I just thought I might have cracked the code with a reputation point threshold, and was wondering if any of you knew something about that.  But, @officeglenn addressed that theory, so the mystery continues...  Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

  12. I know, I'm not too worried, just wanted to see if you guys had any insight.  I think it was about 9 before midnight, 2 after; I'm not sure.  I just see 1 like posts at the bottom bottom of the list and was just wondering why they were there where mine and other posts aren't.

  13. Not sure if you guys can figure this one out either, but going along on the "How the Leaderboard works?" train, is there a reputation threshold to even be considered on the leaderboard?  I'm not trying to be egotistical here, but I escaped my lurking and occasional Concepts posting and made a splash in the News forum (for better or for worse) and I'm still nowhere to be found in the leaderboard even though my M barley study got 11 likes.  It seems like only the big names of the board get put on the leaderboard, any confirmation to that theory?

Anyone know something similar to the font used on the new MLB postseason logos? I can't seem to figure out those S's and I love them!

Just figured that one out, that would be a modified TT Supermolot Neue Expanded Bold.

Couldn't find the exact blackletter, but a blackletter with minimal flourishes on the uppercase should do the trick.

Does anyone know the font used by the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders? Their wordmark appears to be an italicized version of it, but I am looking for the base font that they seem to use on everything, from ballpark signage to ads to scorecards to uniform numbers. Thanks so much.

Pretty sure that's a Brandiose custom font, they tend to make full custom fonts with their identities a lot.

Probably custom, but with a stretched and modified Olney, and an oblique, stretched, and modified Helvetica Compressed, you could get close.
