Did some deep watching of the helmet video. I think there are multiple helmet options: the burgundy with yellow facemask clearly shown burgundy facemask seen at :09 seconds black helmet with black facemask, with what appears to be a number on one side (definitely not the W) The helmet handed to Rivera does not have a yellow mask – either gray, burgundy, or black. The blur of the burgundy helmet shows a singular yellow stripe, not two-tone. A couple guess: they have not finalized helmet design, they will mix and match shells and masks, or there are some smoke screens involved. -

Overlaying the two in photoshop shows that they are different Ws. New W is more condensed, and the right serif is lower and parallel to the interior leg of the W. -
Bit of an oddity today in Nashville. New sod after a bowl game 3 days ago, and a lot of rain since then, means no end zone markings today for the Titans.

No official release, but it looks like my alma mater has new uniforms for this year – featuring comedically small typography on the front. Looks a practice uniform. It's a shame, because their set has been pretty solid the last couple years.

New court for Vanderbilt. a more muted stain replaces the old yellow/orange stain to better match the shade of gold used by the school XXL 'StarV' logo at center court the logo is now finally accurate – the previous version had a V that was smaller and slimmer than it should have been anchors in opposite short corners traditional typography along the sidelines, though they appear to also be larger

Closer look at the helmet. Previous black helmet was matte, new lid is gloss with some serious gold flaking (which in itself is a throwback to when the black helmets were first revived years ago).

New black helmet for Vandy. StarV and anchor stripe are replaced with throwback script and Nashville skyline. There were rumors months back that a full throwback uniform was on the way, but Covid my have thwarted those plans and left them with just the decals.

Here's the only mention of a new logo I could find, mentioned by the baseball coach on some very bad baseball hats. It looks like they started rolling out the new set at least December of 2018. The script was also on some the baseball team's uniforms last season. Script isn't bad, but the monogram is awful. Overall, it's such a huge downgrade from what they had.
