  1. Minnesota Wild The Wild's new design is not too wild. Their logo gets enlarged at center ice and the red line is redone with the team's "M" alternate logo, which is reversed on each side of the logo giving the effect of "MW" for "Minnesota Wild" for fans on either side of the ice.
  2. 2023 Winter Classic at Fenway Park The winter classic evokes memories of playing pond hockey on crystal clear sheets of ice. What if this clear ice was brought to Fenway? To achieve this "clear ice" effect the infield and outfield of Fenway would be repainted at scale or, more likely, a printed graphic would be laid down on the lower layers of the ice so they not-so-subtly peak through the final layer of ice. The event's logo sits at center ice and the red line features diamonds since the game is being played atop a baseball diamond. I would imagine the on field graphics would feature a "snow covered" infield to complete the effect. Below is a quick mockup without the surrounding graphics.
  3. Buffalo Sabers The Sabers circular crest fits neatly into the center circle. A modified version of their wordmark runs up the red line.
  4. Anaheim Ducks The Ducks get the oversized treatment and their new redline features repeating triangles that come from the teams iconic Mighty Ducks logo.
  5. Toronto Maple Leafs The Leaf's have plenty of leaves on their ice. The current logo gets supersized at center ice and their old logo gets repeated on the red line.
  6. Boston Bruins Bruins keep it very traditional with an enlarged logo and a striped center line meant to evoke the spokes in the Bruins' logo.
  7. Florida Panthers The Panther's rink is a bit tamer than the All-Star game they're hosting. Their shield sits at center ice and the redline features a repeating pattern of crosses from the Florida state flag.
  8. NHL All-Star Game 2023 A little detour from the 32 teams. The stars will descend on Southern Florida where they'll be greeted by a funky and flashy rink. The rink is outlined with the colors of the setting sun from the event's logo. The birds and palms from the logo are also painted subtly under the ice. The four-pointed star from the logo is repeated down the center line.
  9. New York Islanders The Islanders crest gets a little larger at center ice. The redline is stripes with the "tape" motif featured on their primary and secondary marks.
  10. St. Louis Blues The Blues' ice features an oversized winged-note and the Gateway Arch spanning center ice painted under the ice. The red line remains blank to balance out the other graphics.
  11. Vancouver Canucks The Canuck's logo sits at center ice with the arena's logo below. The redline features striping inspired by the team's uniform.
  12. San Jose Sharks This may be a bit cartoony, but so is San Jose's logo. The shark crashes through the ice to chomp down on a stick, in it's wake it leaves a "hole" in the ice and "cracks" emanating from the center circle. The center ice design has too much going on for the arena's logo, so it is repeated across the red line.
  13. Calgary Flames The Flames keep it classic with their crest at center ice, albeit a little asymmetric, and the licks of a flame running up the center line.
  14. Vegas Golden Knights The Golden Knights shield will be glistening on hot Vegas nights. The shield's gold paint features gold leaf flakes creating a dazzling metallic look under the ice. The laurels from the team's uniform are repeated up the center line.
  15. Edmonton Oilers The Oilers keeps it pretty tame adding a larger logo and adding drops of oil to the center line.
  16. Washington Capitals The Caps are the first team in the series to take White-Out to the centerline paint in the circle. Their logo stands alone at center ice. The center line features red and white stripes, a nod to the US flag. Under the ice is a sutble, tonal, paint job that makes the team look as if they are skating on marble, the material used throughout the capital city's monuments.
  17. New York Rangers The Rangers get rid of the crest in a roundel look, but keep the year of the team's founding. "1926" is subtly painted on either side of the crest.
  18. Colorado Avalanche The champs are here! The Ave's lose the swoosh around their crest and the "A" stands alone at center ice.
  19. Winnipeg Jets Nothing too crazy here from the Jets. Their roundel gets a little larger and the arena's new logo moves to the sides of the crest.
  20. Tampa Bay Lightning The Bolts' new center line features a series of... bolts and the arena's logos wrap around the oval in the teams logo, similar to how arena logos are presented on traditional rinks.
  21. Chicago Blackhawks Not too many changes for the Blackhawks, a lager logo and the addition of the stars from the Chicago flag to the center line.
  22. Montreal Canadiens The Habs get a larger center ice logo and fluer-di-lis striping at center ice inspired by the Montreal flag.
