Here are the Oakland Athletics: Logos The most noticeable difference is the return to kelly green, specifically the shade on the new alternate. Uniforms I added a simplified striping pattern inspired by the old Northwestern stripes. The numbers are based on the font from the team's primary logo. The gold alternate stays, and the green alternate is modified so that yellow & white don't touch. The Cooperstown Collection retains the brighter kelly, with gold letters inspired by the Kansas City Athletics. The Spring Training jersey is a different green top, with a white cap featuring the elephant logo. That's the A's, the Philadelphia Phillies will be up next.

Here are the New York Yankees: Logos The primary logo is re-colored to be more navy-centric. I edited the away wordmark so the line weights would be more even. The digitalization of the cap logo comes from @SFGiants58. Uniforms Other than the tweaked road wordmark, no need to mess with the most iconic uniform in sports. The Cooperstown Collection is based on the 1912 uniform, which the team threw back to in 2012. The Spring Training jersey brings back the BP design from the late 90's/early 2000's which I love. That's it for the Yankees, the Oakland Athletics will be up next. I hope you all are doing well!

Thank you! The Yankees will be up shortly.

Here are the New York Mets: Logos Most everything stays the same, the most notable change being the new away script, provided to me by @SFGiants58, much thanks for allowing me to use it. The Cooperstown Collection logo was made by splitting the "N" and the "Y" from the cap logo. Uniforms The home jersey is perfect and remains the same, beyond a change to a number font that better matches the script and cap logo. The away sleeve striping and pants are meant to be reminiscent of the 80's racing stripes. The royal alternate now has striping that mimics the away, and I added a snow white alternate back in to be worn on Sunday afternoons. The Cooperstown Collection is based on a uniform the Mets threw back to in 2009, and the Spring Training uniform emphasizes orange as well as the Mr. Met logo. That's the Mets, the cross-town Yankees will be up next.

Thank you! I personally like the serif, something about it just seems "Twins" to me. I understand your point of view, though. The real-life TC has started to grow on me again, as I like how the serifs on the T would match my number font nicely. I know what you mean. Normally I'm not big on straight-up throwbacks (notice how the jerseys have the current logo for the patch), but here is a look at the block font on the powder blue & off-white jerseys: I also gave them the real-life TC logo.

Here are the Minnesota Twins: Logos I gave up on trying to incorporate Kasota Gold into the Twins' scheme, as I've finally acknowledged that it doesn't work. The only place it appears is the outline of the primary logo. I also adjusted the "TC" to be a combination of @SFGiants58's iteration and the real-life version. Uniforms The away uniform now matches the dual-striping inspired by the "TC" logo. This inspiration is also transferred to the sock pattern. The number font is customized as well to match the home wordmark. The navy alternate now has a white wordmark with a red outline, inspired by this BP jersey, along with a white front-panel cap, inspired by the 70's batting helmets. The off-white 60's throwback returns for Sunday afternoon games. The Cooperstown Collection keeps the new powder blue uniform in rotation. I reserved the red jersey and cap for Spring Training. That's the Twins for today, the New York Mets will be up next.

Here are the Brewers: Logos I kept everything pretty much the same from the team's recent redesign, which I absolutely love. Uniforms The home uniform matches the sleeve striping style of the away now. The socks also have a Packers-style striping pattern that is once again inspired by @SFGiants58. Other than that, nothing changes. The pinstripe alternate goes back to royal blue to embrace its roots a little bit more. The navy alternate now has sleeve stripes that mimic a portion of the socks, as well as a yellow brim on the cap to add some flair. The Cooperstown Collection gives the Brew Crew a powder blue away option (inspired by the 80's away designs), complete with a yellow front-panel cap, and the Spring Training goes a bit further with the yellow, along with a Barrel Man cap. And that's the Brewers, the Minnesota Twins will be up next.

Thank you all very much, I appreciate it! Thanks! To clarify, the "caliente red" shade is what the Marlins currently use in real life, which is more of an orange-ish red. I decided to replace that color with a more obvious pink, to give the Marlins a unique color among MLB. The Brewers will be up in a bit.

Here are the Miami Marlins: Logos I kept the main base of the newest logo-set, but recolored it to be more "Marlin blue" heavy in the overall color scheme. A warm pink shade also replaces "caliente red." Uniforms The wormarks are now blue-heavy, with a black outline and a pink dropshadow, so the blue & pink don't clash. I tried to separate the blue & pink everywhere I could throughout the set, with the black helping them both "pop." A Marlin blue alt enters the rotation full-time (as it should be), and the black alternate has Marlin blue letters for improved readability. Here are some alternate cap options, such as a white front-panel option to add to the 80's "Miami Vice" vibe, and a Marlin blue crown cap to mimic the original road uniform. The Cooperstown Collection is based on the original home uniform with the classic teal, and the Spring Training embraces the pink a little bit more. That's the Marlins, the Milwaukee Brewers will be up next.

For the most part, the teams that I always come back to are the ones that I feel I've yet to perfect in my eyes. The Mariners, Twins, and Rays jump out to me as teams that have never really had an iconic, definitive look, so they are ones I find myself trying to revisit most often. That kind of goes along with having trouble thinking of ideas for them, especially when a team doesn't have great logos or colors to work with, that makes it more difficult. I also go through ruts where I simply don't feel like making any concepts (such as right now), as I imagine most designers do. The Marlins will be up shortly.

It's time for the Dodgers: Logos The primary logo is a tweak of their alternate logo, now with the jersey wordmark. Uniforms The singular road uniform now has the "Los Angeles" script but removes the unnecessary piping to match the clean home uniform. The Cooperstown Collection throws back to the Brooklyn Dodgers' 1944 satin blue uniform. The Spring Training utilizes the cursive "D" logo from the home script. I wouldn't mind seeing the jersey, inspired by an 80's BP design (as has been a theme in this series), used occasionally as an alternate in the regular season, but I'll leave that up to each of you to decide for yourselves. That's it for today, the Miami Marlins will be up next.

I'd probably want to avoid that, just because it would be identical to the Dodgers' away script. Speaking of the Dodgers, I'll have them up momentarily.

What type of cursive font are you referring to?

    MLB x NIKE, TAKE II

Thank you both! I agree that the yellow gives it that "California vibe," joining the Lakers, Chargers, and Rams as teams who have used the color to good effect. Thank you! Is this what you're referring to? (On the right, with the original on the left for comparison): Thank you! I think "Los Angeles" would probably be too long for a non-script wordmark on a jersey, but here is a version with "Anaheim":

And here are the Angels: Logos Inspired by @SFGiants58, yellow takes over as the secondary color in place of navy, which remains as a tertiary. The "spikes" in the sides of the letters are removed to distance from the Rangers, while staying true to the team's earliest aesthetic. Uniforms The single yellow stripe on the socks is meant to represent a halo. These yellow accents are also found in the middle stripe on the jersey and pants. The red alternate now has white letters for improved readability, and when worn at home, it can be paired with a white cap, on occasion. The Cooperstown Collection is based off of the PCL Angels, complete with UCLA stripes and a wordmark from @SFGiants58. The Spring Training goes all-in on the yellow. That's it for the Angels, the LA Dodgers will be up next. Thanks!

Apologies for not getting the Royals up yesterday, but here they are: Logos I decided to go with a primarily royal and powder blue scheme this time around, with gold being relegated to the crown logo. The primary wordmarks now have dropshadows inspired by the old primary logo in order to integrate the scheme more throughout. The Kansas City Monarchs logos come from @SFGiants58's excellent series. Uniforms The striping is inspired by an 80's BP jersey. I feel like this pattern can help "define" the Royals. Also, if any team is going to go with a powder blue road, it should be them. The number font is Clarendon-inspired to match the regality of the script and cap logo. The royal alternate is essentially a modern take on that same BP jersey, while the powder blue away can also be worn as an alternate at home on occasion. The Cooperstown Collection is inspired by the Kansas City Monarchs of the Negro Leagues. The Spring Training set adds a white cap. Thanks to everyone for following, the Los Angeles Angels will be up next.

I agree, even though I might like the increased orange better aesthetically, I don't think the Tigers really need to change at all. It was fun to try though! Thanks. Thanks!

Ah, I think I understand what you're suggesting now. I actually had something like that already mocked up, as an "outtake" Cooperstown Collection uniform, possibly for use in future seasons. The original is on the left, with your suggestion to include the "H-star" on the right. I didn't arch the font like you suggested, as I think it would clash with the straight stripes of the tequila sunrise. I probably prefer the regular star, as it stands out more, but I appreciate the suggestion! Thank you. For future reference (and this is to all readers), if you wouldn't mind refraining from quoting the images of the uniforms it would be appreciated, just so as to save space and not clutter the thread. If you just name the team you're referring to specifically, I'll be able to know what you're referencing and address it appropriately. No harm done, I just wanted to be able to address it for the future. Thanks. Thanks! I agree, I think the warm colors of the tequila sunrise stand out best against the cool navy. I'll try to have the Royals up later today.

Thank you. To be honest, I can't quite visualize what you are requesting, would you maybe be able to elaborate more on what you're imagining? Thanks! Yea, that was one of my issues with the orange jersey, as well. I wouldn't want to do a blue gradient, as it wouldn't have any use anywhere else in the set. This is the only other solution I could come up with: Thank you! They were fun to make for sure.

Here are the Houston Astros: Logos As a small tweak, the silver beveling on the "H" is removed. I added a bit of a tequila sunrise/stripe gradient around the primary logo, and this same striping pattern makes its way into the shooting star of the wordmark, inspired by @SFGiants58's iteration, as you can see here. The colors of the wordmark on the orange jersey flip, now white with a navy outline, and the navy jersey has white letters with no outline to match the cap logo. Uniforms The 3-stripe "gradient" also makes its way to the sleeves, pants and socks. To balance out those warm colors, I decided to keep things more navy-heavy this time around for the primaries. As previously stated, both alternates now have white letters, which helps the team distinguish from the Tigers, especially on the orange alt. An orange cap, sock, and undersleeves option is added to be worn on occasion at home, most likely for Fridays and/or afternoon games. The Cooperstown Collection is based off of the Tequila Sunrise design, and the Spring Training jersey features the H-star logo and a cap with the sunrise pattern. The Kansas City Royals will be up next. Thanks for checking this out!

Here are the Tigers: Logos The main difference here is that orange is more infused into the regular look. The "Tigers" wordmark also makes an appearance on a jersey for the first time. Uniforms The home uniform now has an orange outline around the logo and orange piping, while I removed the white outline from the away jersey. The Cooperstown Collection is based off of the one-year 1960 Tigers home uniform, and the Spring Training utilizes more orange based off of an 80's BP jersey. That's the Tigers! The Astros will be up next.

Thank you for the thorough feedback! I truly appreciate it! I understand your critiques about the Rockies numbers. It’s interesting, I’d agree with your opinion that the Rockies logo and wordmark could use some tweaking, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a concept that I feel that has for sure improved on it, you know? It’s a weird situation. I’ll maybe try and see what I can do though. I’ll try to get the Tigers up tomorrow.

Apologies for the long hiatus, as I have been busy with school and working on other projects, but here are the Colorado Rockies! Logos A brighter, richer purple is embraced as the team's true color, and it now fills in the letters on the home uniform. Also, a big thanks to @SFGiants58 for creating a custom "Colorado" away wordmark for me that better matches the home wordmark. Uniforms A new custom number font is implemented to match the cap logo. The two-stripe design on the sleeves, pants, and socks of the away is reminiscent of Colorado's original road design, while also acting as a subtle tribute to the Colorado flag. Both alternates feature the interlocking "CR" logo with headspoon piping, as well as an added snow white pants option for when the purple jersey is worn at home. The Cooperstown Collection uniform is based on the old Denver Bears, and doubles as a Colorado flag tribute uniform. The Spring Training uniform showcases the mountain logo. And that's the Rockies, the Detroit Tigers will be up next!
