  1. I’m not really sure where this opinion lands on the scale of popular to unpopular, but I think I like the Bucs’ whites better than the red. Both look beautiful, but idk, the white jersey over pewter pants just looks so damn good to me
  2. Hot take: keep Washington Football Team. It’s unique and quirky and kinda fits a team that’s been around forever, giving like a 1930s type of feel.
  3. Hate me all you want, but I’m starting to like this combo. Get rid of the gradient numbers and I think I’m there. Blue over blue and anything with bone is still hot garbage tho
  4. Idea: gray masks along with the white jersey/white pants combo to go for a true old school look. Do it once, maybe twice a year against a team like Green Bay or another classic team.
  5. And Alabama has had a white helmet in their past Just because it’s happened doesn’t take away from the fact that their identity is known with a crimson helmet and I don’t want to see them break out white helmets either. And Florida is an orange helmeted team historically, with white being a strong secondary helmet. Blue helmets were just a blip on the radar. As a one off, like earlier in the year? Cool. Becoming a regular part of the rotation? Not a chance. One season over 50 years ago doesn’t justify it.
  6. Just looking at the helmet from a design standpoint, I love it. But it’s just not Florida. I’m sure the uniforms as a whole will look good, but just because they look good, doesn’t mean it’s right. It’s the same reason teams like Nebraska, Stanford, Alabama, Texas, etc. don’t need an inverted version of their respective helmets. Just because it might look good, doesn’t mean it needs to be done. There isn’t anything wrong with the design, but the real issue is the history involved with it
  7. As a Broncos fan who’s grown up with the current uniforms, I’m undoubtedly biased, but I really don’t understand the hate. I get it if you don’t like them, and hoping for a return to a modern version of the classic set is something I can get behind as well, but to put the current uniforms on the level of Cincinnati, Arizona, and others of that era? Nah. Maybe side panels aren’t your thing, I get that, but at worst the uniforms are mid-tier. The number font is pretty good, the helmet is amazing, and they don’t force random piping (Arizona), weird mascot-inspired features (Cincinnati), or yokes (both of the previously mentioned) into places they shouldn’t be. The panels may not be your favorite design choice, but Denver hasn’t tried mixing non-matching panels (like white over blue) and the panels are actually fairly simple in terms of design. In all honesty, I’m fine keeping them as-is for the foreseeable future. But then again, this is all just my opinion and doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things.
  8. Oh wow, is that really the only time they’ve done that? I knew it was a rare occurrence, but with the introduction of mixing and matching in recent years, I could’ve sworn they did it at least once either this season or last season. Honestly, if it was up to me, I’d drop the white pants and just roll with silver full time. Throw in one blackout game, and a couple white over black appearances (with blue socks of course) and that would be that. Silver works with all three jerseys and black is a good change of pace, white pants just aren’t needed.
  9. For the sake of debate, what about a hypothetical new Panthers set with a black helmet, electric blue jersey, and silver pants? Assuming it’s a well-designed uniform, I think I’d like to see that combo, but maybe it’s because silver is close enough to white. I’m having a tough time thinking of a situation it might look good with a non-silver element in place of white.
  10. Ahhhhh, this is gonna be a hot take.... I think the Bills’ blue over blue is actually a pretty good look with white socks. Striped socks would make it a ton better though, and it definitely shouldn’t be worn more than once a year, but it’s actually one of the better same color jersey/pants combinations in the league
  11. I think the issue that I (and several others) have with the Nightmare Green is that it doesn’t always look, well, green. Don’t get me wrong, in the proper lighting it’s a good look, but more often than not it appears more of a brown color than green. I think they should take it about a shade or two more to the green side of the spectrum, while still keeping it dark enough to call back to the Joey Harrington era
  12. While I think that overall the Rams had a major swing-and-miss with the new unis, I will say the blue jerseys over yellow pants is actually not *that* bad. In all honesty I think it’s solid color numbers away from looking really nice
  13. I hate the Detroit Tigers home uniforms. Classic chest-D or 2018-present cap-D on the jerseys. I don’t know what it is about them, but I just don’t like them. That being said, I have no idea how I’d fix them either. Maybe a Tigers script, and/or include orange? IDK, but for some reason I just don’t like their home set and can’t put my finger on why.
  14. I’m on a quest to make NASCAR concepts a more popular thing. One of the more recent debates in the sport has been about number placement, with the All-Star Race experimenting with a shifted number. The argument is that it’ll help sponsor visibility and therefore make sponsorship more worth the money and entice more investors in the sport, which I can’t argue with. Honestly, I prefer to not mess with it, but since it seems likely that they will move them on the NextGen car, I decided to play around with them. These were done a while back, so before you jump on me about how Ross Chastain is already in the 42 so the 16 concept is pointless, or the same thing with Briscoe and the 98, keep in mind these were done way before those announcements. Like I said above, I’m still not in favor of moving the numbers, but I think that when the shape of the sponsor logo is incorporated into the design, the scheme can actually be pretty nice. Going through each: 9: Basically, I took the idea of Chase’s current scheme and shifted things to match. 24: This one was kinda a weird mashup of the classic Jeff Gordon Rainbow Warrior with Chase Elliott’s scheme. IDK why, I just rolled with it and that’s what I ended up with. 16: Hypothetical “What if Kaulig Racing went to Cup with Ross Chastain as the driver.” Like Elliott’s, I took the current scheme and adjusted for the logo. 98: Okay, so I was watching Iron Man and he fell on a Shelby Cobra that reminded me of Chase Briscoe’s Ford Performance School scheme and that’s literally the whole idea here. 20: It’s Christopher Bell’s scheme tweaked for the logo. This assumes Rheem follows him to the 20, of course. 18: Not much to say here tbh. I just did something and hoped it worked. 5 and 25: Renumbered the Hendrick cars to bring back the more traditional HMS numbers and pretty much designed around the logos. These numbers traditionally had neon accents, so those are kept. 3: IDK, like the 18, I just did whatever and hoped it worked. That was a lot to type on my phone. I might throw some more NASCAR concepts in here later, like I said, I’m on a quest to make that a thing.
  15. Correction: Denver can’t tackle for :censored:, anyone could’ve taken that in for 6
  16. The Chargers have TV numbers, they’re just on the helmet instead. The Patriots, who knows. They must’ve decided they weren’t necessary
  17. Tampa and New Orleans has the potential to be one of the best uni matchups annually. Why do the both have to be in combinations that hurt this? (NOLA is more at fault than Tampa)
  18. Well... I held out a little hope that it might be improved, but it looks like we’re stuck with a $60 roster update once again. Madden peaked in 08 and it’s been all downhill since then because they refuse to understand that pretty graphics don’t make up for awful physics and broken gameplay
  19. With the Falcons, you have a bit too much going on between the wings, logo, and shoulder numbers. I would recommend eliminating one of the three, personally, I'd keep the wings and put the numbers on the sleeve in place of the logo, as having both the logo and wings may be a little repetitive.
  20. I know I shouldn't, but I want this to exist as like a Saturday afternoon alternate.
  21. It’s a good thing he’s already used to throwing to Saints players
