  1. I would like to get some feedback for the Vipers if it's possible. This is what I am working on atm:
  2. Team #14 and it's back to the AAF and since we have been all east as of late.... time to head West. ARIZONA HOTSHOTS The Hotshots and Arena Football.... a dream combination if there ever was one, the idea just works and I didn't mess much with the design of the hotshots just added the design you see on the sleeves and pants... kept the green, orange and yellow combo because it's a unique scheme in general football design.
  3. Before we continue, do we have any favourites that stand out?
  4. Team 13 now and we're heading back into the USFL range for a team well known for it's signature Banditball as it enters Arenaball. TAMPA BAY BANDITS Them Bandit boys are a side that I feel would embrace Arena Football alot especially with the style of uniform that I went for them.... As it turns out the Bucs coloring of the late 90's is what the Bandits really need and I could of merged them again like I did in the USFL thread but I liked the AFL11 logo for the Bandits so I used that as well as the 2022 redesigned secondary logo... and went with G/R/G and G/W/G with Black and Red alternate pants.
  5. .... might as well rebrand the team Canton Bulldogs if they are reminded of the other two teams.
  6. And now it's time to restore balance into this universe and to restore a team's natural colour to it's original form and none of this black and gold cancer that seems rampant in Pittsburgh. "bashes Yinzers from the thread" WHAT IS UP WITH BLACK AND GOLD IN :censored:ING PITTSBURGH, JUST BECAUSE THE STEELERS BLACKMAIL THE CITY DOESN'T MEAN YOU ADAPT TO THEIR BOLLOCKS Anyway let's move onto the next USFL team that personally should never of succombed to that horrenous cancer. PITTSBURGH MAULERS The Maulers in my opinion need to have a more sturdier spine and a fortitude to essentially say no to black and gold cancer no matter how slimy any of it's reps are.... the purple, orange and grey was fine by my opinion but the uniforms they had was of the later stages of the Frankfurt Galaxy which quite frankly no one needed to see again... well that and they aren't the team that shouldn't of needed a yolk. So this is what I come up with instead... stripings and home silvers with colored/white roads
  7. Anyway moving onto team 11.... and in the XFL, one team rightly reclaims its home.... the Rock. NEW YORK GUARDIANS The Guardians don't belong in :censored:ing Orlando, they belong in :censored:ing New York.... the original design was perfect, the concept I did was perfect and like gargoyles I adapt this team to Arena Football and so with everything else being reverted to the 2020 look minus the 2023 logo but done in red.... the original logo depicited a gargoyle whilst the tarded logo looked like a cougar... Seriously Dwayne which :censored:ing genius you hired thought GARGOYLES BELONG IN :censored:ING ORLANDO?! In all seriousness this allowed me to work on a two tone black theme and keep the silver as the offwhite... WHICH :censored:ING WORKED PREVIOUSLY.
  8. Before we move onto team #10.... I should mention that the last couple of helmet designs were influenced by @WideRight and @edjb93.... the former noticed pretty much and was ok with me doing it as long as I mention him in future posts which is alright with me because whilst I freely admit I am no artist when it comes to logos... uniforms is where I shine the most and tbh most of the Arenaball teams have never been good in the logos especially the early years... See? Plus there isn't much concepts out there of Arena Football teams period especially when you Google search for design ideas.... however I did want to update on the home look for the Dynamite. See that the blue on the yellow has been replaced by the white? It was like the off colour for the Iron I did.... consistency. Now with that bit of legalise over with... it's time for team #10 and Arena Football's first major juggernaut. DETROIT DRIVE The AFL has three major periods in it's history and with the conclusion of the first period there was a team from Detroit that literally ran over everyteam in it's path.... 4 time Champions and they played in Joe Louis Arena where the Red Wings won Lord Stanley 11 times... four of those they fought against BITTER 90's rivalries the former Quebec Nordiques aka the Colorado Avalanche aka the big rivalry of said hockey era. Anyway back to tangent.... elements of @WideRight appear here in the logos and the helmet design for whilst the drive's logo is fine and all, it's kinda dated and thus doesn't suit the modern era.... although I used the original colours of the Drive. If you look at this crisp design and scheme, I would say they are like the Houston Oilers.
  9. Team 9 is quickly done just like that and looking at the thread there has been a lack of Arena Football teams that have that look... you know the look that makes you stop for a few minutes and then take a closer look to see if it's real or not. In early years of Arena Football there was a team that only lasted two years but they are the first Western based indoor team and they didn't have an impressive logo nor a uniform set.... well until concepts took off that is. DENVER DYNAMITE The Dynamite should have an explosive reaction when it comes to uniforms... essentially playing in what is Nugget colors with a royal blue that makes any Rams fan proud, I wanted to do something that is gripping and expressive. KABOOM
  10. Team 8 focuses on a design template that was perfected in the AAF but then they used it as home AND road and whilst it looked nice, it doesn't work for Arena terms so back to the blank canvas known as: BIRMINGHAM IRON Non traditionalists like @Bomba Tomba shall celebrate in glee for the Iron has forged its way into Arena Football... a design already perfected, all I did was add alternate pants, side panelling and logos on the sleeves and pants... the helmet is blank as it was originally was, well that and logos don't work here. No relocation plans to Indianapolis as in previous terms btw, Birmingham is a hub zone by itself in the South.
  11. And those classic colors will be coming for the Maulers.... this will be a thread where black and gold can frankly piss off.
  12. But I figured we would update again with another team in the USFL and let me put it this way.... Navy and Gold does not belong here. "Kicks out the Navy and Gold Showboats from existence." With that fire hazard out of the way... time for the proper Showboats to shine. MEMPHIS SHOWBOATS Oh Showboats what do I do with you? I've already used up the Silver Sky colorfont that @WideRight discovered and this is a team that doesn't deserve the Pekka Rine treatment no matter how officials and fans complain about how red heavy the current USFL is. So what I did was essentially bring the old colours back, darkened the silver, brightened the red and made a bright silver helmet to accompany the new logo.
  13. Good thing you did mention that... Around that time, the Ravens beat the Giants in the Super Bowl so this was at the time a popular look... something 1.0 copied for obvious reasons.
  14. Team number 6 is going to be our 2nd XFL team and I figure we go back to the old days of 1.0 for a team that played in Ravens colours yet was stuck in the midway.... time for the 2nd team of Chicago of this league CHICAGO ENFORCERS For the Enforcers I went ahead and replicated their only season kit but with a few exceptions... The logo loses the black but adds in purple so it can be seen on the field, as a consequence the logo gets dropped from the sleeves as I felt that the uniforms were already good enough. Adding a third pair of pants to the set... which is purple as the team focuses on black, purple, white and grey... I treated them like the Ravens without the yellow. ----- However there will be multiple city teams as these guys and Bruisers are in the same city but maybe different arenas perhaps?
  15. And the Lions have won the NFC North... first time since 1993 when it was the NFC Central.
  16. Hope you are all having a good Christmas Eve, I am most certainly am better health wise compared to last year which was agony.... but anyway we now have a USFL team and considering that league is mostly traditional, that is a challenge by itself but challenges is what I try to achieve well and I had a plan in mind for the first team today as we are now going to tackle what I consider the most well known team of the USFL. MICHIGAN PANTHERS The Michigan Panthers are we all know are a side famous for it's Champagne and Maroon like Wine combination which pairs up with the light blue to create a set that is still to this day the most unique out there. So what I did was to adapt to a PROPER Champagne tone which I found and then I darkened the maroon so it works with the new lighter tone and then since we are using the current Panthers look as the base of this concept... I decided to adapt the Michigan Wolverines look into the set to bring the classic set to a more modern feel but with tradition still in it's core and that's all I did. @BengalErnst and many other USFL fans come take a look at what I offer.
  17. Next up is a team from the XFL with a uniform set that was spot on when they were first launched but then took two steps back to The Rock's XFL because of minimalist designs and pointless bevelments. Time I fixed this team design and give it an Arena look at the same time. DC DEFENDERS The Defenders have made some very VERY odd choices when it comes to pants and for a pointless silver colour that doesn't work.... This team is like Nebraska and Wisconsin... two colours only ever work for this team and this is where I draw my line in the sand. Red and White is all DC needs, nothing else... So I made a White Helmet and then it's Red for Home with White pants as an alternate pair with White for Road with Red pants as alternate... and then since it's Arena Football... DC Stars on the sleeves, Lightning bolts and half striped striping on the pants.
  18. And now for the shoulders of the Bruisers and the Gladiators.
  19. Correct. It is a very underutilised combo and the Copperheads would of been very noted and famous for said combo... unfortuately Bud Adams put that serpent six feet under.
  20. Shoulder numbers for the Gladiators and the Bruisers are also coming as well... I didn't have enough time to do them considering its Christmas and all.
  21. Before the Christmas Holidays settles in, I figured I would update with one more Arena Football team.... and technically this team still exists today but before they moved to where they are at the moment, they were one of the original founders of Arena Football and with that in mind, let's reintroduce ourselves to this team's original location. PITTSBURGH GLADIATORS Before we begin with what I did... let's get the obvious one out of the way, the logo quite frankly sucked and @WideRight did a oversized logo one on his concept which effectively eliminated me from doing that.... so I decided to take a logo from a hockey team, made it large, updated it without bevelments as I have little to terrible experience with them aka Texas A&M and used a proper Bronze to go with the Green, Black and White. Here the Gladiators are a hybrid of styles with three pant options as one pair of pants in Arena Football is a bit mundane and quite frankly factors into the cheap factor of the sport and then there was what Antonio Brown did to the Albany Empire which is :censored:ing heinous by itself.
