  1. With that said in mind, it's time to move onto the next team and our first Arena Football team.... that is not the Barnstormers which is essentially the meat of this sandwich. CHICAGO BRUISERS The Chicago Bruisers were one of the four founding clubs of Arena Football back in 1987 and they were described as an old school team in an indoor arena setting with the theme of black of blue like actual bruisers normally look like after a round of beating each other up but in concepts, the black is downplayed mostly because black doesn't suit a team like the Bruisers where other colors do. So for a team like the Bruisers I decided to bring back the blue from the original run and then add a lighter blue and a navy blue to the listing creating the Triple Blue set.... but like the Chicago Bears, they don't wear monochrome pairings, they pair with B/B/W and B/B/NB for home and then B/W/LB/NB for road.... thankfully I don't see this team as badly run like what the Halas clan have been doing.
  2. Here is this is how it's going to work: There will be 12 USFL teams, 12 XFL teams including past names, all 8 AAF teams and then 16 AFL teams.
  3. As requested by @BengalErnst, this is going to be a thread covering the USFL, the XFL, the AAF and the AFL so there will be no NFL teams of the like.... probably for the best too if I have to be honest. Figuring out how to do this was something I've been meaning to do since I'm technically coming full circle with the NCAA Arena Football league, that is professionally run, well at least run in my specifics per say. To begin with as I did with the UAXF thread that might come back one day as that HAS 2 teams left so for those that remember that thread, then you know what team comes first. ORLANDO APOLLOS Now then figuring out new colors is something I didn't expect to discover when it comes to the Apollos but Navy wasn't something I considered part of the identity although it does work as a canvas for the bright orange and the white.... however as @Bomba Tomba commented recently creating an indigo that mixes purple AND navy together works just as well and since we are in Arena Football terms, I have decided to give the Apollos an alternate set of orange pants that they can use because as much Indigo I would like to see on the field, orange works well. The Helmet now has the pant striping as well which is one of the changes I made alongside the new indigo. PLUS with this scheme they look like the Frankfurt Galaxy and everyone knows how much of a :censored: yeah look the Galaxy had.
  4. "comes back and gets rid of the dust and cobwebs." Well this was a mess.... and we are back with a team in the Capitol division since New England and Apple are done. SAINT FRANCIS RED FLASH The Red Flash are a FCS member and originally it wasn't going to be this... it was going to be something flashy and generic but then I realise the name itself is something and so I decided with a colored away outfit, not whites or off whites... full on red road, this makes them the first team this series to have a colored road uniform. That is something any Arena Football concept allows you to get away with in my opinion.
  5. Nearly 10 months after this thread was last used.... I think it's time to revive this thread alongside the eventual revival of the Arena Football thread ((I got about 140 teams left)). With that in mind here is team #25 from Hartford, Connecticut that plays in Division III of College Football in the NESCAC... TRINITY BANTAMS The Bantams would of been a team in Arena Football except the New England was already picked out already so they missed out... instead they enter Club Football in the East division to face teams such as Harvard, Yale, Post and UBalt
  6. This but considering the road of the scrapped design was all white... I felt it was a bit boring AND I went with a silvery white that worked.
  7. The next thread I'll be doing will be what @BengalErnst requested and I intend to honor that.
  8. Sure. NFC East NFC North NFC South NFC West AFC East AFC North AFC South AFC West
  9. Because I like doing things different now and again... besides Albany was my choice.
  10. And so this thread with this last team will be complete... the first bit of unfinished business done and the last of chasing other trends. So how do we close this thread out? By visiting one of the major what ifs of football had 9/11 not happened.... ALBANY WARBIRDS The Albany Warbirds are an identity that literally sells money... the alternate logo is one of the biggest sellers of hat merchandise the league has to offer, with the off silver, the two greens and the supporting black giving it a our current Buffalo Bills vibe... their fanbase are nuts and very supportive when push comes to shove.
  11. Never thought I type this out but... THANK YOU SPANOS!!!
  12. You know what? Although I did say I was going to let others take the front page and all that.... turns out I get bored easily so after 3 months away. I'm somewhat back and I have unfinished business to settle. So let's get back to things shall we? OKLAHOMA BISONS Oklahoma was long overdue for a football reward ever since they hosted the rivalry matches between the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs and so with a fresh plan in mind... they submitted a franchise bid and was successfully achieved... Oklahoma's reward is the National League's Southern Division against the Kansas City Chiefs. What is unique here is the dirt like gold they came up with to support the orange, the blue and the white... it is unique in a way that it isn't just Mustard and cutting it.
  13. Welsh Dragons would of been my only change.... rolls off the tongue better.
  14. That and it wouldn't of been good enough to compare but yeah if I don't do this now then I'm likely going to keep going which is going to annoy those that say I haven't learnt... I'll linger in the background, it's time to let others take the front pages
  15. I did this (not this thread) as a side hobby for years and I felt that I was limited to what I did and yet did well for what I was able to do.... feels like that is now coming to a collective halt, not that I've been ignoring the problem at hand for years but pure utter stubbornness kept me going and yet that creativity has dried up. I'm effectively going to put this and the other thread on hold.
  16. That would be the case except the antlers of the Elks are part of their logo and their logo connects the Elks to the letter E.... that and Mormons.
  17. All these exciting teams and we need a team from the west to essentially bring it all back.... unfortuately they exist in Mormon country. SALT LAKE CITY ELKS Into the AFC West go a side that sells itself on tradition, on connecting Denver to Los Angeles and to Seattle... even though they are run by Mormons and if you know Mormons then you know... not saying how I know but when you know, you know.
  18. Time for team 45 and this team honors it's connection to Native American history... whilst shaming those that pretend. LOUISVILLE THUNDERBIRDS The Thunderbirds play in the AFC North and are as traditional as most of the expansion teams on the list... being 85% overwhelmly popular when presented as a franchise name choice does that to you but the Thunder Red and Thunder Orange choices are standouts on the field... especially since the Cardinals were an inspiration to uniform choices but they also refuse to wear black nor do they were grey.
  19. Something that I should say that people should know. Just like in the USFL thread, there won't be any international teams... despite how tempting it is to make a London Monarchs set. However there is good news because NFL Europe has in fact thrived and currently exists in the modern day as a professional run D-League allowing practice squad players to thrive with local players... Teams includes: London Monarchs Barcelona Dragons Dublin Shamrocks Amsterdam Admirals Frankfurt Galaxy Cologne Centurions Hamburg Sea Devils Berlin Thunder Rhein Fire Scottish Claymores Paris Musketeers Munich Cowboys
  20. I wouldn't exactly call myself a genius per say.... and speaking of which its time for team 4 of this third wave expansion as we now head to Texas for a team in a city known for it's weirdness and it's anti-Texas stance. AUSTIN ARMADILLOS The Armadillos have an owner known for his Tex Mex preferences but he's also known being Anti-Texas... what I mean is that whether it be Cowboys or Oilers.... he defies their expectations and make sure that the team is well known for being something else, so bright colours for those two teams, the Armadillos are known for their Black, Red and TerraCotta esc Gold. They are the brand that every non Cowboy and Oiler fan goes to and in a surprise twist, pretty much the popular anti-establishment team in the NFL because of their clashes with Roger Goodell.
  21. Yep we have peaked in Nighthawks, this is proper intimidating and we can all thank @Bomba Tomba for the suggestion.
