  1. This is awesome! Congratulations!
  2. Not that there is a whole lot of original thought here....using the old NFL Europe Monarchs as a starting point. Number font is ornate royal numbers. Added a shield shaped patch that contains the royal coat of arms. The patch has different colors for the enlay and borders for home and away uniforms. Small UK flag under center of colar.
  3. I was going over some things here and came across this Bucco Bruce skull logo made by Torch Creative that I really think is great. I thought I'd use it and incorporate it into a Buccs concept. What I have here is a creamsickle using this new logo on the helmet, no "sleeve" stripes. Used Pittsburg Pirates MLB font for the numbers. Pants and helmet stripe are same as original from 1976 more or less. Toook the current skull and crossed swords form the current logo and removed the football. Added that to the shoulder sides. Made a pewter ALT with that same skull and crossed swords logo on the helmet.
  4. Here is my latest shot at a Chiefs altnerate. Similar to some of my other work but a few difference with these. Helmet logo removes the black and is just red and yellow. Yellow primary jersey color with red colar and red armhole. No "sleeve" stripes. Two tone non contiguous stripe on pants. Special 3 tomahawk patch on sides of shoulders signifying the Chiefs 3 super bowl wins. Numbers are official Chiefs wordmark font. And sorry for the lower quality resolution of my work. I only have and know how to use MS Paint.
  5. Columbus Blue Jackets reboot. I've always thought this team has had some good foundational elements to work with, but they never can settle on a brand and look. As you'll see with these, I feel that they should lean hard into their Civil War elements and their Artilery piece logo. ...with that in mind.... I've added the civil war union rank of Ordance Seargeant...wich is the 3 chevrons with start in red. Red was the color used by artillery soliders for their rank and insignia. I've eliminated the ribbon around the cannon with the "Columbus Blue Jackets" wording. Made the cannon itself a little bigger. Used the Ohio State flag to stripe around the bottom of the uniform...and instead of using the "C" and the "A" for Captain and Alternate....I used the artillery uniform rank of Captain and Lieutenant on these. The alternate "Starburst" is a depiction of hte cannon firing a bomb "bursting in air" so to speak in a starburst...gold colar and cuffs. Ohio State flag moves to the shoulder boards for this Alt. Hope you like it.

  7. Kansas City Scouts reboot
  8. Decided to work on my favorite NHL team, the St. Louis Blues. I became a fan back when they had Hull and Oates lighting it up, and that 90's uniform with the primary colors has always been my favorite. Way better than the current look IMO. Anyhow...I took the 90's uniform and gave it some upgraded. Added trebble and bass clef to right and left shoulders respectively. Changed the striping pattern to resemble a musical bar and added notes. Increased the Blue Note logo and removed the white "St Louis" lettering from it. Took the striping off the shorts.
  9. I hadn't thought of that....I think I'll try it.
  10. ....probalby not worth posting...but a hastily (and poorly done) Denver Broncos Colorado Flag edition.
  11. Chiefs concepts I posted elsewhere but didn't know how to link pictures...so posting again with better link. Idea here is to try to present something that attempts to hold on to tradition and says "Chiefs" when you see it, while updating the look and modernizing it to fit todays football uniforms. Removed black from the KC logo to match rest of uniform and brand. Cheifs wordmark font for numbers replacing generic block. Removed "sleeve" striping. Added "KC" from logo two tone below neckline depending on color. Added a yellow jersey and pants. All can be mixed and matched. Made two tone incongruent striping on pants.
  12. Next is Portland/Oregon Goonies Probably wont ever see a team use a movie trademark ever...but I thought this was interesting....was inspired by the pop culture jerseys someone else here made. Anyhow... Gradient Goonies wordmark accross chest. Spanish Doubloon upper right chest. Copper Bones on both shoulders. Goonies wordmark font for numbers and player names. ALT is a Mama Fratelli speecial edition with Mama Fratelli helmet.
  13. Hi, my name is Gary. I am just a guy out here with no professional training, and no skills. I do my work using MS paint. don't have and dont' know how to use Photoshop or other tools. I really admire the high quality work so many of you do here utilizing those to make your creativity come to life. Still, I wanted to be a part of this community and submit what I have.....and figured putting my stuff in one spot might be the best way to go about it. I'll add/update as I make more. Hope you enjoy...or hope if you don't enjoy, you take the time to say why. Thanks again.. Made these for possible NFL team in Toronto. Idea is to try and make it all of Canadas team as well. North American River Otter mostly lives in the entirety of Canada. Maple leaves across the front come from the Canadian Coat of Arms. ...and the ALT Fall Foliage Edition is something I thought was a good way to utilize the leaves in a different way. Home, Road and ALT Toronto Otters
  14. This is my feeble attempt using MS paint (I am just a middle aged dude that is NOT a pro graphic artist) to rebrand the Commanders into the Washington Weasels. Not a whole lot of deviation from the current scheme or colors. Removed sleeve stripes (a big pet peeve of mine) Removed the "W" from the helmet and replaced it with the new logo weasel head. Changed helmet color to yellow/gold so weasel logo pops better. Added a yellow weasel silhouette to the sides of the shoulders. Probably a bit bland..and could use some accent striping on the pants or something, but I left that alone in this version. I figure "Weasel" besides being an apex predator...also fit well with the idea of politicans in Washington being weasels. The natural color of a weasel is reasonably close to the dark maroon color of the Washington NFL team so I thought it was a good fit. C & C?
  15. I like what you've done here. Clean, crisp, no sleeve striping (a big plus in my book) but I do NOT like the two tones of blue on the same uniform....and it's worse with when it's such high contrast with that red. Unless the Texans just become the Oilers again (which would be cool) then I don't know if Columbia Blue coming back is a good idea or not. Just my opinion though.
  16. This is my first post. I am not a professional artist. I don't know how to use any other tools besides MS Paint, so these will appear a bit crude compared to so much of the other outstanding work here. I love uniforms and the Chiefs are my favorite team. I've long admired their resistance to change over the years, but have long felt a few changes would do the uniform some good and bring it up to date with the how things all fit on modern football uniforms. With the idea in mind that the Chiefs and Hunt family care A LOT about their brand and tradition that goes with it, I've been mindful to create something that doesn't stray from those tradtions and maintains a look that one would see and still think "Chiefs". What I've done here - I've removed the "sleeve" striping. Modern football uniforms don't have sleeves anymore. The have an armhole and if you were designing uniforms today from scratch, it wouldn't occur to anyone that striping should go around that hole. It doesn't fit, it gets scrunched up...it's an area better left alone for the most part. These don't have TV numbers on them but they could be put on top of the shoulders or on the sides of the shoulders if desired. The number font is changed from standard block font to Chiefs official wordmark font. So many teams have their own unique fonts and I thought KC should use theirs for this purpose. I've removed the standard stripes on the pants and went with a two tone stripe on each pants set that doesn't flow all the way to the top or bottom of the pants leg. Each jersey has a two tone "KC" just below the neckline. I've removed the black from the "KC" arrowhead. It is now just red and yellow. The only element of the unifrom as it exists today that has any black in it at all is the KC arrowhead logo itself. These aren't exactly the same as the KC arrowhead logos the teams brass wears on their suits, but it's closer in resemblance to that than the current logo. There is a White, Red, and Yellow set...and all elements can be mixed and matched. The helmet remains red with white facemask. I do understand that there are a number of changes here but I try to keep in line with the clean, classic look that the Chiefs brand has long been. Would love to get thoughts, critiques etc. Thanks.
