I feel like I'm having an @CaliforniaGlowin moment, because I like these as a silly little alt for all the people in that cities subculture.
If we need to live with these CC stuff, we might as well acknowledge when they do a good job of representing an aspect of their city and make something decently fun

ITT: "LOL, the people in charge of knowing the culture of the city know less than me, a random stranger" immediately shown why they're both wrong and a square

I like it. I shouldn't,but for a baseball team, *chefs kiss* Taco bell Padres in green and gold?

I'm sure the NFL can find some way to get logos on it, or develop one that can.
Every player should wear these. So they should figure it out before they're mandatory in 10-20 years

"Sure, McDonalds could keep selling burgers and fries. Our customers love it and it's what we're associated with. But how would we make McDonalds a more advanced brand if we didn't change it up and start selling Brazilian-Japanese fusion?"

Weird soap box: we need more publically owned teams.
You want the public's money for a stadium? Okay, then you get to be publically owned.
ridiculous that we can pay for a team and get nothing in return if an owner decides to skip town. Whole system is rotten

Panthers updated their template. Why can’t Green Bay?
They like having their stuff made by a local company. Honestly, I love that. The Packers are integral in Wisconsin culture down to who makes their uniforms. I hate them, but I also love them.
This Vikings fan is conflicted

the NFL aesthetic never should have evolved past the 1920s. If it was good enough for them, it's good enough for me
And let's bring back the wedge. That Roosevelt guy was a real wimp for banning that

Spiders is a cool name, but there was a 0% chance they went with that. No living person feels a connection to it, because anyone who saw them play is now dead. The only thing they were known for was being a AAAA team for St. Louis. Why would they bring that back? no way they would use purple either

I can live with alternates that take a different spin on the colors of the team, just as long as the main unis are traditional. I think that's what we have here. I can live with the black alt because it's the same traditional style, just with the colors mixed around to break it up a little. Honestly that's whatall non throwback alts should do. 9/10

The NFC North is the one division where each team needs to look classic. Thank you Lions for ditching the futuristic crap and returning to tradition.

I remember when the rumors came out about that gradient Jags helmet back in 2013. Everyone thought it was gonna be like the early 2000s San Diego State helmet. Boy, how wrong were we?
Also, seeing the new Jets uniforms, I can't help but feel there's something missing from them. I can't put my finger on what, but they kind of feel incomplete. Maybe a small chest wordmark with the beautiful new updated logo. would do the trick.
Okay, I shouldn't say this, but I kind of like it

I'll say it. I love the Twins' new M logo. It's all I wear now. Maybe it's because I'm an outstater that loves faux-backs, but it's fantastic. Completely grown on me. Love that we have it in the rotation.
These current Twins unis are the best they've ever had

Mormonism is like if American exceptionalism was a religion. You gotta think they'd have guys in short sleeve dress shirts packing that stadium. turn it into a temple. They'll watch America's game in droves EDIT: not a shot at Mormons btw

They should just let Caesar's have the team and make the stadium a replica of the Roman Coliseum

I love how one of the richest dudes to ever become a governor isnt a cartoonishlycorrupt dude who shills for private businesses over everything else. not a singlepublically funded stadium has been a good investment for the state/city/ county that has done them. These guys want it both ways where they can cry poor, all while using their teams as a trophy. If you can't afford to build a new stadium, then you can't afford to have a sports franchise. PERIOD. if I can't afford the upkeep of a boat, and I can't afford a new boat, I can't go crying to the government to buy me one. So why should these :censored:ers get hundreds of millions for their toys? /endrant

I can see IU Indianapolis being shortened as IU Indy in casual settings. Shouldn't be an issue, and I think it's probably a good move in the long run
