Why are people talking about the Twins moving all of a sudden? Target Field rules and they're in a great location that's already connected to local transport infrastructure. I don't think moving to Bloomington would be a good idea. I love target field and if they ever move I'll be so sad

The Twins, Mariners, Giants, Dodgers, and Cardinals, just to name a few, better get to the suburbs or roll the dice on smaller markets. Don't you know thatMinneapolis is still burning and a war zone? At least that's what my relatives from outstate that only ever go to Fargo and Sioux Falls say. I for one can corroborate. Please don't move here so the housing prices stay reasonable Also, typing on mobile still isn't fixed? Lmao

Probably the best you can hopefor without the purple and teal. They seriously need to bring that back. I love AZ architecture when it's colorful with teals and purples. The red and black and sand just screams "suburban sprawl." The worst of AZ is found in the sandy, lifeless suburbs, the best is found in the small nooks and crannies people have used to survive this desert for centuries. AZ needs to embrace color as a whole state. just the perspective of an outsider who's spent the past 4ish years in AZ and is preparing to go back to the Midwest

TheMinnea- in Minneapolis actually comes from the Dakota word for waterfall Mnihaha instead of the Dakota word for water mni (where the Minne- in Minnesota comes from) . The original spelling of Minneapolis was Minnehapolis, meaning waterfall city. Named after the only waterfall on the Mississippi, which allowed the city to become the milling capital of the US. Also, someone please fix typing on mobile

No matter what mobile browser I use, typing is frustrating, because after a couple ofsentences, the thing just keeps jumping around, deleting random spaces, adding random spaces to the beginning of the post. I c an't quote people because it keeps jumping back to the beginning of what ive been typing and deleting it. Ithas really made using the site less enjoyable. It's been happening for a while, and I just assumed it was my browser. I'm not sure if there's a fix.

It’s made all the more stupid that the team’s named after a freaking state and could just have easily been the Minneapolis Vikings if not to appease Little Brother Across the Mississippi. I tried to quote @LMU but the mobile site is messed up and keeps randomly deleting stuff. as a fan of the first two teams to use a state for its name, I'm fine with teams choosing their geographic marker As long as it's obvious what state(s*) the team is in * see Carolina Panthers

Honestly, if the broncos wanted to use that helmet after a rebrand and fill the white-orange-white gap In the uniform landscape that's been missing since the bucs dropped Bruce, I'd be completely fine with it

The helmet itself, in a vacuum, is fiiiiiiiine(ish?) But the whole look is garbage

In a vacuum I like them (My HS was royal blue and black). Do I think its needed? No. But at this point I consider anything that isn't a dumpster fire a win

Here's the thing about baseball. They desperately needed to do something to appeal to younger crowds. There's 150+ games a year, so why not wear something completely different for a handful of games?
Can confirm this worked for at least one of my friends. He follows the Padres closer than he did before. Does it make sense? Not really. Is it necessary so the sport doesn't die out (as fast)? Maybe

Nah, Boston doesn't have any culture after 1776 /s

And why is that?
It just kinda is? Why is France associated with the most famous bike race in the world?
Don't let your dislike of a uniform blind you from reality lmao

This years AL central is looking like the AL central used to. A real barn burner where there's a small but real chance the winner has a losing record. Midwest AL baseball at its finest

As someone who loves it when teams do a mix of modern and retro (a la Vikings) I love the helmet. It's phenomenal. I just wish they would wear it with the Thanksgiving throwback unis instead of the big grey blob

@Sykotyk I think that's true insofar as college teams have a natural, built-in audience. The Coyotes game I went to wasn't anywhere near the atmosphere as Wild games, but I'm not sure how much that's due to the yotes general incompetence vs being a transient sunbeltcoty sorry for the formatin, mobiletyping had a stroke again ,g

I can confirm that Sun Devil hockey games are rockin'. As good of atmosphere as Gopher, Bulldog, and Mavs games I went to back in MN @Burmy

Weren't the Twins one of the two teams on the chopping block along with the Expos when contraction was being discussed due to the Metrodome falling apart?
Yeah, but I'm too young to remember all that drama

Man, this has been a fun dumpster fire to watch, but I feel bad for all the Oaklanders (Oaklandites?) that are losing their team. I couldn't imagine if the Vikings or Twins moved
