Aaaaannnnnddd the rookie doing rookie things to close out the inevitable result. I mean granted, the playcalling did Willis no favors (nor did his receivers), but still...even the Andorians saw this result coming. The killing thing is I don't think Tannehill would have done much if any better in that frame...Snatit still gonna Snatit.
Todd Downing has got to go after this season...dude cannot call an efficient offense to save his life.

Huh? Astros are trash. I didn't watch the game, so I don't actually care. Enjoy your night.
Trash?!?! Stop living in 2012, we ain't losing 100 games no more. Now the Pirates, on the other hand...
And thanks NYCDog for doing the talking for me about the whole bat thing.

Boo, hiss. The villains won, this isn't how the script was supposed to play out!
Shouldn't you have joined every other Astros hater in jumping off a bridge?

faces for all the shady stuff they consistently try to pull in literally every game of this series. Honestly I'd cheer my team on even if they were scummy guys, but it's really hard to understand anyone getting behind this Houston team.
The dilapidated corpse of Dusty Baker gets a ring - but honestly it's a crap organization with lousy-fair-weather fans that gave up their tickets for next-to-nothing, but they do have cool uniforms and good branding. Championships shouldn't go to places like that.
Oh, stop being bitter and tell Manfred to change to change that rule come winter meetings. Your team fought hard and should be a force to come for years. It's just this time, the more experienced team took the crown.
See you in April

Islanders fans were chanting "We want Tampa" in the 2021 playoffs. Got them, lost.
Rangers fans were chanting "We want Tampa" in the 2022 playoffs. Got them, lost.
Yankees fans were chanting "We want Houston" after the ALDS. Got them, lost.
When the hell are New Yorkers going to learn? And really bold and brash and probably stupid of Phillies fans to take this page out of their playbook. I'm assuming Philly hubris overrides their ability to see how this one has worked out for the New York teams.
We can only hope my friend, we can only hope.

Whatever, all this is gonna do is certify the Panthers as the favorites for CJ Stroud or Bryce Young in the draft. I don't see CMC staying healthy on a new team on a consistant basis. But as DG said, don't be shocked if SF makes it back to the NFCCG if he does stay healthy.

Commanding 2-0 lead headed to the Bronx baby! Can't wait to see all those crybabies/bandwagons weep as they have every year since 2010 (and all of the past 21 or so except 2009).

What...? The Astros cheated again?
(I'm assuming that's who you're referring to)
Maybe they meant the 1998 Yankees or the 1984 Tigers, the teams the Padres lost to in their previous appearances.

I, for one, find it funny that it took just two years for the NFC East go from all its teams having a losing record to having all it's teams have a winning record.
