There are definitely more offensive City Connects from this program than these Twins uniforms, but I agree with the points made by others that a lot of similar colors being used by teams during this program is just so uninspired.

Probably that, and also Edwards Air Force Base is in Southern California too and that base has history with NASA so they may tie that in too with their Nike Speak. Also the Space Shuttle Endeavour is displayed in Los Angeles as well. Doesn't make the uniforms good by any stretch of the imagination going off the leaks, but I can at least notice the angle they're going with.

If these were one off uniforms worn by, let's say TCU I wouldn't think twice. But the Vikings should be above chasing college uniform trends.

Honestly the more I've paid attention to the Utah NHL branding debate I'm at the point where I would be somewhat disappointed if they don't use purple, especially with how underused it is in the current NHL. It would fit the Yeti name too which, as mentioned in this thread, is probably the preferred option despite the whole pomp and circumstance of the vote. Yet I feel like it'll end up being underwhelming.

I like the colors, and the last rebrand basically made it so they had nowhere to go but up. But two purple jerseys is redundant, and it seems like Ryan Smith couldn't resist his bad habits from the last rebrand for the black jerseys

Longtime lurker here finally making my first reply: As a person who group in the Tampa Bay area, I ended up choosing the local teams for that reason: Buccaneers, Lightning, Rays, and Rowdies. Username is a reference to the last Lightning cup for the record. I also root for the Magic in the NBA since Orlando is closer to Tampa than Miami, and the Gators in college because UF is my alma mater.
