  1. From release video on Youtube. Darker blue, lighter red.
  2. New leak, new concepts. H-Town Tough alternate is basically a City edition uniform. EDIT: These got spread around on Twitter and Reddit, but to clarify these are just a fan concept and in no way a "leak" EDIT 2: Is the Texans red facemask teaser with the shush sign directed at my concept? Sorry Texans admin I didn't mean for people to think its a leak lol
  3. One last update to the designs, based on the 15 minute teaser video posted by the team. This GIF might have leaked the new home uniform in the back, so I adjusted the home to match. Bull Theme is very likely to be red, and I would expect a horned helmet. The "H-Town Tough" uniform is a shot-in-the-dark but I think it will be mono-blue with a white helmet, likely with a new logo, however, it definitely could just be mono black or white. The promo had lots of shots of the curb art in Houston, so I would expect something calling back to those, I went with the pant stripe.
  4. Good point. I made these before I even realized the wordmark had been tweaked, so I would envision that an "H" on the helmet would match the wordmark. Still not sold on the H but I'm pretty sure it won't be just the logo because it's been said there will be three helmets. Do you have a source for this? I researched a good bit for the original post and didn't find anything stating this.
  5. Concept update with the new confirmed leaked road uniforms. Not entirely sure if the road is the traditional or modern classic, but considering the only big change is the font I'm saying that is the traditional one. Really hoping the font is consistent across all uniforms. Red is moved to bull theme, as I suspect the home uniform will be blue. H-Town tribute very well could be black, but hoping not.
  6. Yes, the teams marketing director already said basically exactly that here: "Vosik added the four versions of the uniform will be completely different from each other and not simply a repeat in various colors. That would be a way to make sure everyone gets what they want." We already know the uniforms will have Deep Steel Blue, Battle Red, White, and "H-Town Blue" (only on some of the uniforms, and just as an accent), the only addition I made was the cream on the "bull" uniform.
  7. Let me preface that these concepts are not what I would like to see, but what I think is most likely based on current rumors, leaks, and press from the Texans. I will try to continue to update these as information gets released. To start, let me go through everything we have seen about the new uniforms: 1. “We said, ‘OK, if you want timeless traditional, here’s the one uniform that answers that,’” he said. “If you want to take it one step further and say timeless traditional gets refreshed, we have one for that. If you said, ‘Hey, I’m into this bull thing, let’s get wild,’ we have one for that. And if someone said, ‘Hey, I want you to pay homage to H-Town Blue,’ and if the players are saying, ‘I want something tough, I want something mean,’ we’ve got something for that.” This points to 4 unique uniforms, specifically a "timeless traditional", "refreshed traditional" "bull thing", and "homage to H-Town Blue". I expect these to be fairly different, with the first two being the primary home and away uniforms. 2. "H-Town Blue— i.e., the Oilers’ old shade of Columbia blue — will be an accent color, not a main color. " and "H-Town Blue will be incorporated in some of the four uniforms the Texans will wear next season." I'm guessing this means that 2 of the uniforms will feature H-Town Blue, obviously the H-Town Blue tribute uniform, and I would guess the refreshed traditional too. 3. "The team’s primary logo will not be changing." Self Explanatory 4. "Fans love Texans Deep Steel Blue, Battle Red and Liberty White," McNair responded. "Maybe we're working on a few surprises for y'all in 2024. We know so many of us love H-Town Blue. Although there are tons of rules around color usage and combinations in the NFL, we're working hard to find a way to honor the 120 year history of H-Town Blue in our city." Blue, Red, and White will continue to be the primary colors, I'm expecting the same shades as well. Without further ado, this is what I believe might be unveiled in April: Let me explain: Modern Classic: I went with red helmets and red jerseys, as I think this is the direction the team will go, especially considering the blue heavy alts that I suspect. Font is the same, but colors inverted from current reds. A flag inspired pattern on the sleeve contains a little bit of "h-town blue", as does the white pant stripes. Blue socks help close out the red, white, and blue look. Traditional Classic: Traditional is almost unchanged away jersey, just paired with a red helmet and pants. Bull Theme: This jersey is based on the blue and white hat in this picture, but with cream instead of white. Horns on the blue alt helmet, a western font, and rope pattern on the sleeves make it "bull" themed. Not a huge fan of this but I keep hearing how one of the uniforms is gonna be all in on the "bull theme", so I wouldn't be surprised with this one. H-Town Blue: Deep steel blue jersey with "H-Town Blue" and white accents, which avoids the titans/oilers issue, and I think is what McNair was hinting at with the remark about the "tons of rules around color usage and combinations in the NFL". Old english H on the helmet and H-Town on the front are from the recent merch sold. This set will use the same unstriped blue pants from the "bull" uniform. Again, this wouldn't be my choice, just my current "betting favorite" given the information we have. I would love to hear what y'all think, and if there's any info, leaks, or merch that I missed that might change what I think is gonna happen, let me know!
  8. Next is the Detroit Lions! I kept the logo the same, and returned to their old word mark, but flattened the L to fit the rest of the letters. The uniforms feature the Lions traditional silver helmet, a blue and white jersey, with one color numbers styled like the workmark. The accents on the sleeves are very similar to the current uniforms, and I did create a third silver jersey very similar to the current color rush grey’s, as the NFL likes to have 3 jersey colors for fans to buy. As always, C&C appreciated! I've got a few more done, so you should be seeing those soon!
  9. I’ve decided to make this a series! I’m going to go through NFL teams in no specific order designing a complete uniform set for them. Some rules I’ve decided: Each set will only be one brand identity, no throwbacks or “city” editions. I’m sticking with current NFL rules, so 2 helmet options and NFL collar logo. 5 uniforms each, with a main home and away set, with 3 alts I have no limits or minimum of changes I plan to make to each, just gonna play around and see what I can make. That said next up is the Atlanta Falcons! I reduced the color scheme to just black, red, and white, and went with a black home jersey and helmet. I tried to make something more unique than their current throwbacks, so I added a wing pattern on the shoulder, and a bold number font, but I kept the traditional stripe pattern on the helmet, pants, and socks. The main home combo is B/B/R/B and away is B/W/R/W, with red, black, and white outs for the alts. As always, C&C appreciated, and let me know if there's a team you want done next!
  10. After seeing the Eagles' kelly green uniforms debuted last night, I decided to mock up what a two tone green set would look like for the Eagles. Using the current midnight green and the throwback Kelly green together, as well as a brighter and greener silver, I modified the current logo and former wordmark for use in my concepts. The home uniforms feature a midnight jersey with white block numbers with kelly floating outlines. A three color stripe on the sleeves with the recolored logo finish off the jersey, with the away and kelly alt following the same template. The pants have the same stripe pattern and come in white, midnight, and kelly. The combos show what I thought would look good but the helmet, jersey, pants, and socks can all be mixed and matched. C&C Appreciated!
  11. Texans will wear the red helmets for three home games, including Battle Red Out on Nov 26 Source: https://www.houstontexans.com/news/houston-texans-announce-2023-home-game-themes "The team will wear their Battle Red Helmet, which debuted in 2022, during three home games this season, the maximum number of times allowed per the NFL."
  12. I liked Bayern's new white kits, but it didn't feel right for their home kit, and wanted to see what Bayern could look like with the white kit as the away, and a traditional red home kit. For the home I stuck with red, with a sublimated bavarian flag design. This would be paired with red shorts and socks. For the away I kept the new home kit, only changing the badge back to full color from the red-washed version on this years kit. This would also be paired with red shorts and red socks, like this years kits. For the third I went with a blue and black quarters with yellow accents, reminiscent of the bavarian coat of arms. This would be paired with black shorts and blue socks. Let me know what you think!
  13. FWIW, every draft post from the Texans today has used the red jersey and helmet https://twitter.com/HoustonTexans/status/1651777015656087553?s=20
  14. Based on tournament precedent this will probably be the national championship uni matchup
  15. ESPN going with a mostly blacked out version of current bug, with pitch clocked added in bottom right
  16. Don't think this has been posted but new logo for the Big Ten Basketball tournaments
