  1. Huh. Is that Oilers logo a callback to any previous hockey team in Edmonton?
  2. And I stand corrected -- I seriously doubted they would wear white against the 49ers in Week 2
  3. Maybe I'm just used to them as a Rangers fan, but I think the red pants looked better with the home jersey. That home jersey really only has some piping and the names/numbers to break up all the navy, and it needed a block of brighter color in the pants.
  4. I see the Texans went to the Carolina Hurricanes School of Uniform Consistency.
  5. Maybe that's the case, but it comes across as corporate Nike-speak to justify why random aspects of the uniform are what they are.
  6. If that's the case, that's unbelievably stupid. From what I've heard, Iowa's uniforms were inspired by the Steelers in the first place.
  7. The Rams I doubt would allow the Niners to wear red at SoFi when Niners fans taking over the stands is already an issue for them (they'd be feeding into the Levi's South jokes). The Niners will most likely be wearing standard red at Cleveland though.
  8. I disagree honestly. I always thought that the red was a great contrasting color to the forest green, the Wild just took it too far by making their primary home jerseys red during the Reebok era. Never really been a fan of double colors, I would just keep the current identity mostly intact or go back to
  9. I agree. My one nitpick is that the home and road jerseys could match a little better, but don't throw away the last two decades of branding.
  10. If they make the playoffs and use this as their home jersey, then it'll be inevitable.
  11. Yeah (maybe unpopular opinion) the Seahawks all blue somehow works where most other color rush-style uniforms don't. Keep this as the primary (this should be worn in primetime and the green jerseys should be burned) and this as an alternate (wear this during sunny day games)
  12. Any combo with the yoga pants look is automatically offensive to me.
  13. I mean Vegas, Winnipeg, and Seattle could also count as modern, not to mention San Jose's look that is an evolution of their original design
  14. I thought the Panthers blue jersey with blue socks looked pretty nice against the Bucs in white last season
  15. That Sabres jersey was so bad that they were forced to bring back the original jersey as an alternate (with front numbers for some reason): And they were even allowed to wear them in the 2007 playoffs for a select few (but not all) home games. Does anyone know why that is? The Canucks did the same thing that year.
  16. Just use the old colors already. This center ice will be a complete mismatch with their primary home uniforms.
  17. I don't love it, but at least the Giants road jerseys kind of work with the traditional grey pants. The current road look with white pants is devoid of blue below the helmet and does not work.
  18. The fact that the Bears wearing all orange is technically possible through the style guide is disgusting.
  19. *As long as players wear the proper black socks. Otherwise it becomes the white leggings look.
  20. Huh. I really don't see how the name could be changed back to that after all of the controversy leading up to the name change in the first place.
  21. I agree. Burn the gold chrome helmets and don't change another thing.
  22. Don't know where else to post this so I guess I will here: In the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Sabres wore both their regular home uniforms (the infamous Buffaslug), and their alternate throwbacks? Does anyone know why this was allowed to happen? Also, the Canucks started the playoffs that year in their regular home uniforms but switched to throwbacks by the second round Was the NHL's rule about one light and one dark jersey in the playoffs suspended that year? Why was this permitted in this season and this season only?
  23. Yeah all players for some reason think that being dressed in one color head-to-toe is
  24. The pants and socks matching colors looks terrible, no matter what. The NFL needs to outlaw that look yesterday.
