By 2030, Major League Baseball has totally modernized. The DH has been implemented in all games, instead of just games in AL ballparks and the annual All Star Game. Two die hard baseball fans, one of them, a fan of the New York Mets from Long Island and his twitter friend turned real-life friend, a Cincinnati Reds fan originally from a small town in Kentucky who moved to Brooklyn, were disgusted when Commissioner Manfred announced DH in NL baseball. They formed their own baseball league, the National Baseball League. It is going to have 40 teams. No DH, no replay. Old school baseball.

  2. CFL, MLB, MLS & NASL, NFL, NBA, NHL, College football v1 & v2, NBL

In 2021, six former fans of the NFL have finally had it with the league for various reasons. They decided on creating a competitor league to challenge the NFL. It is the Federal Football League (FFL). All of their teams would follow the model of German soccer, at least 51% of teams must be owned by its fans. Originally, there were 12 teams from the Mid-Atlantic and the Midwest, but overtime, it expanded to 32 teams throughout the USA. The slogan is "Real Fans. Real Passion. Real Football."

    The original 12 teams are:

    Annapolis Ospreys (Annapolis, MD)

    Cleveland Bavarians (Cleveland, OH)

    Dayton Buckeyes (Dayton, OH)

    Illinois Firebirds (DeKalb, IL)

  5. I'm definitely thinking of putting Euro and Asian teams but having a hard time if I should put them in the same conferences or creating a new conference/league full of them.

I was literally just kidding. It's just a running joke with the Big 4 & 21st century ridiculous expansion.

There is no way though they won't have at least attempted Western Europe, & probably Asia + Central America.

22nd century... Super Bowl on the moon. Make the Raiders play a Sunday & travel to the dark side for a Thursday nighter.

I see, but I could see some teams from like France Greece, Israel, China, etc. bid for NBA expansion teams

Inspired by RoughRiders99's idea, I give you NBA International

    Europe Division

  6. And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse....The Fresno Grizzlies will be the Tacos for a game.

    Those are awesome, actually.
I'm pre-ordering one of those hats. Awesome design and promotion! MiLB at it's best! (don't get any ideas NBA)

Is the game sponsored by Del Taco? That's what I think of looking at that hat.

Off topic but Del Taco is coming to the east coast in New Jersey.

    Next up, NHL!

  8. SEC is still primarily Southeastern, they added teams in North Carolina and Virginia so they can steal some fans from the ACC in that region, even though they are not as popular as the ACC schools there. They added Tulsa as damage control when Texas achieved their goal of being independent (as their AD said in 2040).

Big 12 expanded its geographical horizons a bit adding more teams from the Midwest,Tennessee, and Florida. Also they wanted a super-conference much like the rest of the conferences so they did add some teams who didn't fit. It was either adapt or die, and having lost Texas to the SEC in 2020, they felt that they had to damage control.

The Texas AD comment is just hypothetical, just for the sake of what would happen between now and 2100.

  9. CFL, MLB, MLS & NASL, NFL, NBA, NHL, College football v2, FFL, NBL

But first, what College Sports would look like in 2100.

  10. CFL, MLB, MLS & NASL, NBA, NHL, College football v1 & v2, FFL, NBL

Now here's my take on the National Football League. NFL creates another league called NFL2, but stun the American sports world on April 1, 2040, when they announce Pro/Rel. The system would take affect in 2042, with the bottom teams in each NFL1 division having the worst combined record in the last three seasons facing the top teams of their equivalent NFL2 division in a relegation "playoff" match after each league's respective championship games.

I did my baseball at the end of the 21st century alignment which can be seen here. Now here's soccer at the end of the 21st century. Just like MLB, The top 5 tiers will have all metro areas (and in this case, all states) gets a team. There will also be Pro/Rel, and there will be 30 teams in every league. A bracket with the year shows the year when the expansion team was founded.
