I went to Highland Park Senior High, so The Fort resonates with me particularly.There should be two teams named the Fulda Curmudgeons and Buffalo Punks. mfoster Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 This has been a great exercise, KJ... Since seeing this thread I started working on four divisions (x20) of the Lone Star Football League. I can pretty much do everything but the actual design - team placement, naming, iconography, nicknames, colors, sponsors... I'm also thinking about coming up with "famous fans" for some of them.The tough part so far has been picking the cities. I really, really didn't want to just pick the largest 70 or so by size (I figure bigger towns get more than one team), so if it's a big suburb but only had a population of 379 in 1970, it's getting left off. Plus, what kind of crappy history do the big burbs have? I have a few 4th division clubs in cities under 10,000, but these are older towns with rich histories. I think I've got a working set.
