Sean84106
Out of the professional market, Salt Lake City is second to last in NBA and last in the MLS.For minor league sports (Utah Grizzlies, Salt Lake Stingers, Blitzz) SLC isn't the smallest. DEAD!
Now that I think of it, the AFL wouldn't go to SLC. The E-Center is too small and using the Delta Center would result in obstructed views. I think if the E-Center goes through some rennovations, add about 3000 more seats, (since grand Rapids has a 12000+ seat arena) then the AFL is a possibility. I don't know how the views were in the Delta Center during the 2002 Olympics, but I don't think there were seats that were close enough to the action. I think the first row of seats were about 10 feet above the ice. I saw, I came, I left.
Sean84106
Well it seems it's probably going to happen, so I wouldn't say the AFL isn't coming to Salt Lake. It'll be exactly like they have it in Phoenix with American West Arena.
the_cynic
All I know is that the Delta Center is horrible for anything besides concerts, ice skating, and basketball.Just my opinion though.
