Dilbert
Something nice from LA. WOW! With the Cards winning Im 3 for 3. I only need the Braves to win , and all four of my teams would still be in. Damn!Eh, 3 out of four aint bad!. Go Cards! CC97
Braves and Astros did not shake hands... I'm hoping the Cardinals do this again at the conclusion of the NLCS, win or lose... it would be nice if this became a major league standard. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram

The Cards and Astros are division rivals, but it's not that much of a rivalry, and there certainly isn't any bad blood to it, at least not yet. Most of the Cards were pulling for the Astros to get the Wild Card. They're common ground may be that they think of each other as classy teams, and both dislike the Cubs a great deal seeing them as lacking class.Even if only for those reasons, I could definatley see the handshake coming back after this series. CC97
I hear that Larry Walker floated the idea to Tony LaRussa... being a Canucklehead, Walker liked the idea that hockey players shook hands at the end of each series. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
